My wife and I are shopping for treadmills.
Walking is the best thing for my bad back, plus I need to lose some tonnage.

Don't want anything cheap or budget..
I want a good, quiet, reliable, sturdy machine.
The wife wants something with a screen and live/on-demand workouts.

    Looking at NordicTrack and Bowflex.
    Don't like the Peleton.
Would like to keep it under $2K.
No interest in buying used off craigslist, too many bad experiences with that, and no warranty.

    What say you?
    TIA...

We bought a Sole two years ago, stellar machine. Did quite a bit of research before buying. Consistently 'best rated.'

We avoided the 'live workouts' on our machine, but other models have it......really like the treadmill from a pure function standpoint.

I'll put on a playlist and go, did for years back when I went to the gym.
I know I won't use the workouts and I really don't think she will.
But she says she will, y'all know that goes..:D

    Thanks..
    We'll look into those..

I’m in the same situation and looking too. I don’t like running on a treadmill or a track. I like running if I’m going somewhere. But it’s too cold and too much snow to run outside here 6 months a year. My wife is picky and was looking at schwinn. I want it to have a screen though where it looks like you’re running a trail without a subscription.

We found a Sole F80 at Dicks 2 weeks ago and brought it home.
The box is 3' wide and 7' tall weighs close to 300 lbs.

For $70 they come and assemble it.
My wife paid for assembly because she didn't want to hear my frustration (cussing) while assembling.
They came this morning and assembled it, in and out in 18 minutes.
Would have taken me 2 hours.
    Well worth the $70..

Seems well built, it is quiet, has a nice warranty.

    Thanks for the recommendations.
It is exactly what we needed..

    My last post on this:
Only been a couple of days but I'm pretty impressed with the Sole F80.
It is huge, 81" long and 36" wide, but folds up for storage.
    Seems very well made.
Although Maverick in the kennel doesn't care much for it.

We are on our second True treadmill. We put over 10k on the first one in about 18 years. Replaced the walking belt and gave it to my brother. Still going strong.
Bought a new one last year and its the same high-end quality. They are not cheap but they are built like a tank and will pretty much last forever. Very quiet and stable.

Also have a True elliptical machine. Also a very well built heavy duty machine. Quiet and smooth.

I have a NordicTrack elliptical I use every other day. It puts less stress on my knees and I really like it.

Precore if your budget can stretch a bit from what you posted. Precore is the brand in most commercial applications. We have one and would recommend it, however if/when mine fails an assault-runner would be on the very short list.

All I can say is stay away from ProForm... I scrap those pieces of junk almost daily.
