That was the first mod I did on my 2019 was both front and rear swaybars. As poorly as my truck handled on Missouri roads without the rear I can't imagine driving it to town without the front. The last pickup I had without a front swaybar was a 1969 c/10. Maybe your suspension is better as far as shocks and springs.

I’m running the Icon stage 9 setup. It’s been very stable for me so far, even when swerving around a deer and a horse that jumped out in the road.
Without the front swaybar the highway ride is tons smoother.

Yet the question inspired conversation for over 30 posts. Seams it wasn’t such a bad thread after all.

That must be the difference as I have the Bilstein 4600 shocks the "off road" package came with. The shocks are fine for me but without the upgraded sway bars it was not pleasant handling.

Wow, this is a different thread. I come from the Tacoma forum, and all they talk about is removing sway bar to give you more axle movement. I just moved from a Tacoma off road to a Tundra Pro. With the Pro and it's stiffer suspension. I don't feel the need for a sway bar.

I'm a leper when it comes to my sway bar opinion but I had a TRD rear sway bar and removed it because I found it to stiffen up the ride quality on the highway too much for my liking.

    I wouldn't own a truck that I couldn't install a rear sway bar on.

I have a Hellwig that I recently acquired and I have to admit I really like it over the TRD Rear sway bar. The main thing I like is the adjust ability, there are 3 holes to connect to for a soft medium or stiff ride. It is also adjustable from 2"-6" lift. I also believe it provides better ground clearance than the TRD. I have had them both and like the Hellwig but it is pricey.

Did you rotate your sway bar brackets because of your bags?

Nope, it's mounted that way because I put the axle on top of the leaf springs.

haha I did too. I was thinking the exact same thing about the sway bar. People aren't as brutal on the tundra forum as they are on the Tacoma forum!
