I talked to my local spray in bed liner guy and he said I'm better off getting them powder coated. I was told it would be a better more consistent finish for less $$$. He even gave me the number for the local powder coating company he uses. Great guy to deal with at Xtreme Coatings in Portland Or.

So I contacted the powder coating company and will be dropping them off on Friday to get a black textured finish applied.

Dry fit the All Pro rock sliders today and had to make one small cut and notch for the gas tank skid plate mount and drilled all necessary holes needed for install. After that I loaded them up and dropped them off at STB Coatings for a low gloss black textured powder coat finish. Can't wait to get them back and on. Bad thing is I'll be out of town for three weeks before I can get them on.

I powder coated mine and wish I hadn't. First trip out, I gouged them up on a rock. Have a few battle scars on them now. I have touched them up with a rattle can. Wish I had saved the 200 bucks and just rattle canned them in the first place.

That sucks! I hope mine hold up ok. Since I'm getting a matte finish powder coating and it requires a low gloss clear coat to be applied as well so my thinking is that will help the overall durability but only time will tell.

My gouges are all the way to the metal. At least the slider did its job and the sheet metal is clean. It was a tight squeeze...was pretty sure I wasn't going to make it. But, no guts, no glory

Love the TRD Wheels with red bead lock rings, thought that was only an idea I had, LOL

Did you paint/powder coat or anodize?

Stelly, I powder coated them. Olympic Powder Coating had the proper color for the "TRD red" because they used to do a lot of work directly for TRD.

I decided to have mine powder coated also. But I'm going with a Candy Red color, it's looks like anodize but its powder coat

Finally! Just got the Method NV's mounted with Nitto trail grapplers and then installed the All Pro sliders I had powder coated black. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Looks great man! Do you have the measurements for how long the all pro sliders are? I want them for my dc but not sure if the cm's have the same wheel base as the dc's just have a shorter bed or if they had a longer wheel base. If I can make these fit on mine I'm gonna go for it.

Thanks! They are 95 1/2" long. I think they will fit as they only offer one size.

Thanks Robert! My next vision is to have the rings on the Methods powder coated red, ring bolts powder coated black, debadge 5.7 & 4x4 emblems and apply some decals for the TRD Pro and Tundra lettering as well as the hood like yours.

The red and black accents should look sweet. Against the White those are just great complimenting colors.

Damn looking good!! Really digging these white Pros.... So with yours you haven't messed with the lift at all, just the Pro 2" lift right?

Thanks! I haven't messed with the suspension and have only changed tires and wheels. I would like 35" tires but not sure if I want to mess with the Pro suspension. Maybe just a leveling type kit to get what I need and different front bumper to help with clearance

Right on man, yea I was curious about the Pro coilovers. I assume if they are coilovers, they can be adjusted with preload to gain more lift but I haven't looked at em close enough. I wanna start right off with 35s rather than spending the money on smaller ones that I know for sure I wont keep

Yeah I'm not sure on the adjustability of the Pro suspension and I know guys on here have put 35's on with no lift, spacers, or leveling kits with the right wheel offsets and some trimming.

I can't stand tires rubbing so I'll wait and maybe go up to 35's with the next set of tires when I have a full plan in place.

Yea I did just see that @Wikid ran 35s stock which gives me hope! I understand the rubbing headaches but I have plenty experience coming from my Tacoma in clearing out the wheel well of pinch welds, plastics and the cab mount.

Aloha Flobrandox, what off set did you go with your method nv's? Seems like there is only one size that they make for Tundra's...is that the one you went with? 25 offset? Mahalo from Hawaii!

Yep, I went with the one size they have which is 18x9 25 offset. I still very happy with my choice of wheels.

Do you have any rubbing issues? Out of all the wheel and tire options the 285/65/18 seems like the best option and I think you are the only guy with that set up. I don't wanna mess with anything like shakles and shims...this combo works good stock in your experience? Totally appreciate the guidance before I pull the trigger.

No rubbing issues. I might have heard a very small rub once or twice at full crank backing up but that's it. I didn't want to mess with the suspension either and I can't stand rubbing. My 13 Doublecab with a leveling kit would rub a lot backing up and cranking the wheel and I hated it but it did have 12.5 wide tires. Now I haven't done any serious off road adventures in it so I can't say anything in those circumstances. So far this setup with that tire size works perfect on the TRD Pro.
