For the spoiler, I used these lamps from Auto Zone. Just screwed them onto an inch aluminum strip. Fit perfectly. The spoiler has become more expensive by $30.

Super OEM/Professional looking. What plugs did you end up using from the pigtail of the marker light to your power source?

I got the connectors from bp. (Ones you shave down) easy to shave down once you expose the pins it’s very self explanatory how much more to take off and the rubber seal creates a seal in the bottom.

Hopefully this will help as I had worries about this step. Once you shave close to pins there is a little piece that will come off and expose them like in the very bottom pic. Then be very careful as when you insert the plug in. If you did it right you will feel it. Not just that but it will be super snug which gave me a piece of mind. Then checked power and cleaned it up now to start on the ends.

I installed a separate connector for each fender. I used what I found in my garage. And there lay such an interesting God-forgotten thing.

    https://www.amazon.com/Lights-2016-...184152&sprefix=tacoma+grill+l,aps,184&sr=8-20

Front fenders markers and grill markers are connected to the left fog light. The rear fender markers and spoiler markers are connected to the rear license plate light. Just in case, both circuits are equipped with 5 amp fuses. This may not be the final connection, but in my opinion this is the easiest way. I will keep a close eye on your ideas.
Thank you all for your support!

Are you still wanting gloss black flares? I am taking mine off of my 1794 and they are in excellent shape.

Does this mean that the front fender marker lights are tied to the fog lights; and if so, are fog lights required to be on, for the markers to illuminate?

I don’t use my fog lights as often (due to my lift) and would prefer to wire the markers to the main headlights; is that an option also?

    Thanks for your great work!!!

The TRD Pro does not turn on the side marker lights unless at least the running lights are on. They are not wired, at least from the factory, to be on when the truck is on.

My headlight switch is always in the auto position. The markers turn on with the headlights. The front can be turned off through the foglights. Well, the back will have to be sealed with tape.

Thanks 555TTT! I also keep my headlights lights in auto, but keep my foglight switch off. Great that the markers turn on with the headlights!

(When you say markers, do you mean front, or rear, or both?)

Last, do you leave your foglight switch on all the time too, and is that also auto?

I’m confused when you say front can be turned off with the foglights sorry to be slow lol

The fog light switch is always on. The fog lights, fender markers, grill and spoiler lights turn on automatically when the headlights or running lights turn on.

By no means do I insist that this connection is ideally correct, but it is simple. And most importantly everything works. During daylight hours, all the lights are off; at night, the car looks like a Christmas tree.

Here’s with the flares installed (not wired, yet). Running Nitto Recons 285/60/20 with no spacers (yet). But the look isn’t bad, definitely looks better in person imo.

I would have wired them up first. Hopefully you have extra red clips because a few are bound to break when you pull them back off.

Has anyone received flares from Sparks recently? My order went in at the beginning of Feb and so far they are still on back order.

I ordered on Feb 14 from my local dealer. All but one (PT871-34220-02) of the fender flares has come in. I just placed another order at Lewis Toyota. Guess we will see who is able to fulfill the complete order first.
