I had to have my driver side rear replaced and twice they ordered 222-02 and 223-02 was in the box. Finally they ordered 223-02 and sure enough they sent 222-02 so I did get the correct part.

Unbelievable that this is not a one time screw up. I legit had to order the passenger side to get the driver side. This happened to the front flares when I first ordered, now it’s the rears.

 

Has anyone ordered the harness for the fender wiring? I am wondering if it will work directly with my 1794 or will I have to cut and splice anyways?

 

Yup. All mine were correct! I was also able to get the TRD Pro Exhaust from Lewis Toyota as well. They have been great to work with.

 

Both I guess. I thought there was only one. I would like to use factory harness or harnesses for my 1794.

 

I’m jealous that these are all arriving Ryan! No movement on my Sparks order. I’ve been calling around (including at Lewis Toyota) and apparently some of these are under a national backorder. Here’s hoping some arrive soon, I want to join the club!

 

Thank you for the info! Can we get the factory lights for the Heritage grill now? I would love to go with the factory lights but I have already wired in the Rave ones so I could just wire them to where I have those now. If you know or get the part numbers for the harnesses would you please share?

 

Thanks Ryan, I set up an order with Lewis but their shipping is strange (for me). They had a massive shipping fee of $300 at first for these relatively lightweight parts. Then I used their coupon code (FREESHIP), which took $200 off that, so shipping was still $100. Very strange, and $100 ended up being still way too high for shipping. I don’t like the $200 off $300 system, seems like a scam tricking folks who don’t use or notice the coupon code. Just my own experience, clearly many are very happy, so I may have been doing something incorrectly.

Check your local dealer. I had one in 2 days from ordering. Twice since they originally received the wrong side.

I got all the harnesses today. Do you have a diagram showing where each loom goes or where they are located on the truck?

 

UPDATE! Install is powered and done and these connectors did work....not ideal but they worked.

Got Markers wired up with that connector. To help track down where to buy those connectors you have to shave down I basically tracked down that Napa Sells a Tundra ABS wheel sensor that is the same part as previously mentioned. Just a different part number then previsiously mentioned.

Basically I searched for a ABS speed sensor for a Tundra 2007-2017 on the NAPA website. You have to do some serious trimming on the plug but some good marine heat shrink and it looks like it should be pretty water tight. Part number on NAPA site was ECH EC2725. Shaved down per what the pics look like earlier in this thread (take your time and with a Dremel and it isn't too bad). Originally I searched for Part # 90980-12416 to come up with this rabbit hole I went down.

Searching for S2825 on Rock auto you get this (I didn't buy this one but its another source potentially)
Figured this may save some people searching for this part on where to source it. NAPA had a 20% code when I ordered so fairly cost effective.

I just received shipping notification from Sparks for the fender flares have shipped… we’ll see what arrives.

 

Been waiting for my sparks fender flares for a month. Hopefully I get a notification soon.

 

I ordered a set from McCord’s Toyota in Vancouver, Wa and received them a week later. My buddy works at the Toyota Parts dept and I have him finding the plug connectors for me. Apparently Toyota has a huge selection of OEM connectors in the back.

 

Awesome, I am looking forward to getting notified from Sparks as well!

 

Just tried ordering these fender flares in Canada. The order went through and then received an email about 15 min later saying:

“Unfortunately your order had to be cancelled as the parts on it are currently on stop sale with Toyota. They will not release those parts to us. We've cancelled and refunded your order.”

edit: tried from two different Toyota parts dealers, got the same response from both.

 

I just got notified that my shipment has left Sparks! I ordered a set of flares and a grill.

Looking forward to installing them soon.

I ordered mine on Feb 8, 23 along with a grill. The grill was in stock but they wouldn't ship it until the flares came in.

It appears that when you order and there is a shipping discount they wont split your order which makes sense. I tried a few times to get the grill shipped but they wouldn't. Then I tried to order a grill again on a separate order just as the original order was ready to ship so I had that order cancelled.

I was about to go the RC Sport Flare route!

 

Thanks…I took a hard look at the RC route also but finally talked myself into being patient and get what I really want which are these.

I will also check out Lewis Toyota too.

I just ordered a set of flairs from Lewis Toyota as it appears they do some due diligence before blindly shipping them out. If it comes straight from the warehouse, well, I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope they are the correct flairs in the box! Now I have to decide whether or not to grab to the rear markers or call it a day with the flairs.... Someone slap me, quick!

 

Are these a good fit? And do they come in packs of 1? Or?

 

Lol I want it, but I'm having a hard time with that price tag! When I make a harness for the front and rear fender lights, I'll probably end up leaving and extra Deutsch connector back there specifically for the rear spoiler. Because if I know me, I'll eventually break down and buy the spoiler

 

I wonder how hard it would be install some lights into the standard rear spoiler? Would be a project if one could find a removed spoiler at a great price!

 

Hear a spot that may have em. They carry connectors from Sumitomo which makes the wire harnesses for Toyota. Happy hunting!
