The dealership where I bought my tundra put on some of the cheapest LT tires you can buy, looking to upgrade. With 295/70r18 being the biggest tire you can put on a TRD Pro suspension, I see a lot of people going with the Ridge Grapplers. I've seen KO2's, Wildpeaks and Coopers, but what about the Kumho Road Venture AT52. At only $299 a tire, 3 peak snow rated and one of the lightest 295 tires at 62lbs, I'm surprised I don't see anyone wearing these.

Pretty sure the majority of people are on-road 80-90% of the time and off-roading here and there, this tire sounds perfect and has the ability to off-road well.

If anyone has these please let me know and show some pics!

I think the general consensus is that your suspension is not the limiting factor on tire size, more wheel offset and willingness to cut away necessary pieces from you wheel wells (cab mount chop) as well as UCA fitment. Cruise through the Wheel and Tire section of the forum and you'll find tons of information on the subject https://www.tundras.com/forums/wheels-tires.18/. In regards to tire type, I have KO2's that I have had a great experience with. Yes they are pricier, but I got 45K miles out of my first set. I can't say that I've seen any Tundras on Kumhos, but I remember hearing good things about them back in the day on FJ's and 4Runners. Best of luck with your tire endeavors!

You can fit 285/75-18 on a pro with stock wheels no issues. Taller than the 295 and typically lighter which will offer better performance and MPG.

    Yikes, those tires are horrible.

I had Wildpeak 295/70 18 on my Pro no problem. I did remove that little front flap since they rubbed in reverse at full lock.

Not a fan of AT 52’s. Had a set on my 2011 SR5 DC & only got 35,000 miles out of them. Shop where I bought them rotated them every 5,000 miles & did an alignment check at each rotation. Put a set of Wildpeak AT3W’s on, one of the best AT tires I’ve ever had. Great in snow & got me to my hunting & fishing spots no problem. When the factory Yokohama’s wear out on my 2023, it will either be Wildpeaks or Nokian Outpost AT’s.
