I completely agree...I'm sure the Pro will be fine with what I'm going to do with my truck. I really like to look of the Fox and I've read a lot of good stuff about them but it will probably be overkill for what I'm doing, which is occasional off road. The price for the Pro suspension is daunting. :(

No experience with either but @jberry813, @jlee both have Kings and seem to be happy with them.

The OME BP-51 looks like a great suspension setup for the tacomas and 4 Runners. The price is high though.
Icon and King are the best but looking at the two kits here the King is the better of the two with the rear 2.5 with resi.

Yeah, I don't have much experience with Icon or King but it seems like people are happy with them. The Kings with the resi not only look bad ass but the price is comparable to the TRD Pro suspension. I might pull the trigger on one of these set ups this week so some last minute research will help.

And yeah, I've kind of been nerding out over @jlee BAMF build thread. He is doing a lot of stuff I want to do with my Tundra.

There are progressive, linear, and digressive shocks.
    • Progressive shocks start out soft and get stiffer quickly as the shaft speed increases.
    • Linear shocks uniformly increase stiffness as the piston speed increases. It is similar to the progressive valving but does not make dramatic changes at higher speeds.
    • Digressive is just the opposite of progressive. It starts out stiff, then it tapers off.

Icon is digressive and King is progressive

With Fox, King and ADS you can rebuild/ re-valve your own shocks. I believe the Pro would have to be sent in for any changes but it's sweet from what I've read. There's someone selling theirs $1,700 at Tundra Classified on Facebook.

I have fox 2.5 resi coilovers and 2.0 rear resi shocks love the set up I'm at 3.25-3.5 lift up front using a shim with very little preload I'd go with fox or king before pro suspension any day.

The Pro suspension is a 2.5 inch lift in the front with a 2 inch lift in the back. The difference makes it level, but it's still a short lift (that's covered by the factory warranty) but it still gives you more than a stock Tundra.
Having said that, I've found that the shocks are VERY soft and when there is some weight in the back (in and around 800 lbs or more), you can see it dip noticeably.
I'm looking at either adding an air bag leveling lift or swapping out the rear shocks to the ICON shock system that allows me adjust the shock for when I have cargo

Guys I don't know what to tell you..I got my 2016 TRD Pro in May and it's a 2.5 in the front with 2 in lift in the back as stock and Yes, I've put it side by side with a regular Tundra and the difference is obvious.
