You mean Alcan or Deaver?? Not sure. ToyTec sells Dakars and Icon rear suspension. I thought ToyTec sold Deavers but not sure. Alcan products are direct order if not mistaken.

    You’re right Matt, direct order.

Alcan makes a good spring. Never owned any of the others.

Here is Alcan Springs website. Looks pretty much custom order.

Talked will Bill Ford with Alcan and will be filling out the order from. I have to figure out who can install them for me. I don't have any of the proper tools and space.
Is the Pro 1.5 lift in the rear? Not sure what height to ask for. Bill said a extra 500-600 lbs of capacity will help. Going to get $$ but feel the investment will be worth it in the end.

I think Toyota doesn't do anything to the rear of the Pro trucks, so stock its not lifted. The leaf pack is more money but will be worth it, from your pictures it looks like your riding on the overload so you for sure need an upgrade.

Pro is 2" in the front, 0 in The back? Should I request no lift? Not looking to rake the truck.

I wouldn’t lift it unless you plan on different rear shocks....maybe an inch if needed.

Ordering a pair of Alcan today, wanted to know if I should get 500 lbs extra capacity? I am getting a 8 leaf pack with no overload spring. Mainly carrying bikes and camping gear, and a ARE cap. Bed will always have 200 lbs. I do go off road with this weight. Will be towing a small camper from time to time. I bet that weighs 1,100 lbs max.
Will extra capacity give me a harsh ride or will the 200 lbs cap help with this. Or should I go with no extra capacity since these springs are much better than stock. Damn this becomes a guessing game.

    timbren makes a similar setup.

i've been trading emails with the alcan guys as i need to replace my deavers. let me know how they work out for you. i've found the email conversations to be solid and they are quick responders. deaver never got back to me. did you send them loaded and unloaded truck weight? if you're getting in the dirt as well, you may want to consider their 'orbit eye' upgrade.

I was quoted $750, around $100 shipping, which sounds about right for that weight.

Keep us updated. I am in a similar situation. I have Demello sliders,my bedrack. And a tear drop around 1400 lbs. When loaded for camping my rear end is dropping. I was thinking shackles and the 748 deavers. But it seems they droop after a year so I’m looking at other options. These may be my answer

Copy that will do. I will take a pic once installed. Takes about 3-4 weeks for delivery. It was only $50 more to get 500 lbs over capacity, seemed like future proof way to go.

Following along on this as I am in a similar situation with my bedrack/RTT/bedslide. I am guessing Alcan and CB shackles will be the route I go but I want to see what yours comes out looking like. Truck is awesome by the way!

So if one wants to add a leaf to the rear, how does one find someone who is knowledgeable to do it properly? If on a TRD Pro, are the Pro shocks able to work with that, or do they need to be changed?

Alcan springs showed up yesterday. Installing them tomorrow. Had them put on RB 192 OEM bushings to keep them from squeaking. Will see how badass they are.

Stock height, 8 leafes no overload. 500 lbs over capacity, and OEM bushings to keep the squeak away. I will give you guys the full report once installed.

Leaf pack came out badass. Alcan did a killer job. Cost me $1036 with shipping. These springs are heavy!

Springs are installed and they ride great? Little stiff but they are brand new and probably will settle a bit. Truck feels solid but supple in the rear end.
