I just watched that video yesterday. It's on my TO DO LIST for today. I actually never noticed any movement from my rigid fogs, but when I checked them for fitment they are loose as crap. Toyota kind of dropped the ball here. Their QC is much better than this, but it's an easy fix. Thanks for the tip and the video.

Just got done doing this to my PRO. Worked great, tight now. But I did have to play with them to get them both level, no biggie.

That is excellent. I love seeing kids outside doing stuff. Even when they are trespassing on my property, riding ATV's in the creek. Heck I even pulled them out of the creek one time after they got a side by side stuck bad. Used my truck to pull them out.
Really do enjoy your videos with your son. It's refreshing to see that sort of content on YouTube.

Can't blame this on RIGID brother. This is on Toyota. They just did a terrible job of mounting really good lights. My fogs were not bothering me, but they were very loose when I checked them, so I did the Zip Tie trick. Thanks to YOU and your little man, we know what to do. Thumbs Up.

Same here dude. Never noticed my fogs bouncing or giggling while driving at night. But when I put my hands on them, they were loose as a goose, poorly mounted. The Zip Ties make for an easy fix. Just be prepared to level them out with each other once you zip tie them.

Seeing is how crazy loose they were, I can see how they would have giggled all over the place. Mine were ridiculously loose. Honestly glad you brought this to our attention. My OCD would not allow me to ignore the easy fix you provided. You Da Bomb.

    Excellent video!
Has anyone put lamin-x film on the factory Rigid fogs? I'd hate to pitch these just to get yellow down low.

It probably wouldn’t look to good. The rigids are high in the Kelvin scale, upwards of 7000k. There is a fair amount of blue in this spectrum of light. So blue light being filtered through a yellow film will result in a greenish output. You would have to put such a dark yellow film over it to get a true yellow that it would diminish output so much it’s not even worth using as a fog light anymore.

I got these and they do the trick if you want yellow down low. Tight fit but they fit in the pro light pods. I also got a set of clears.

I’ve been working in Tempe for the past month. I first called SDHQ and they said they could have them for me tomorrow but , thinking that Rigid is very close to where I’m working so, I called Rigid and talked to Sales. I was told that there was 130 on backorder but they were expecting more next week and I was able to pick up a pair on my last day in Tempe at SDHQ Motorsports in Gilbert.

    Guys and Gals,
These Fog light covers from Rigid are in stock at most 4 Wheel Parts locations. I found 6 in stock locally! Pretty excited to see how these are on my snowy night drives!
