TRD Pro grille back order situation

Hell yeah! The elusive black, very nice. Guy at work with a black Tundra just saw mine and said he was going to order. Poor dude has a bit of a wait on a black one

 

You gunna paint or wrap those chrome bumper ends ???...I'm getting mine wrapped for $200.00...all 4 ends

 

I already have the hood bulge...but im not putting it on till the Pro grille arrives

 

There's a Tundra customizer on instagram that is offering them for $900

I will open tomorrow and inspect. UPS dudes are gorillas. I have heard stories about people catching them on video just throwing packages out of the truck.

 

Yes they are brutal, i just hope no damage was done to it. Keep us posted.

 

I used to work for a major shipping company. What you have seen on video from people's porches is nothing compared to what your packages go through in the sorting hub. Cell phones or any recording devices are not allowed in the buildings, so it is rare to see the real abuse your packages receive.

I just got an email saying mine was on the way and should be here this week!!!! Ordered it 5 weeks ago so not as long as the 8-10 weeks they said. Thanks Roman!

 

You guys aren't going to like this, but I just received a weekly back order report that states Toyota has pushed back the grille release until the end of October. We're still getting some grilles in here and there, but they're not going to be readily available. Updating OP now.

That is a bummer folks. About 2 weeks ago someone posted that Toyota of Glendale, Ca. had 6 in stock. I took a chance and called Nathan in parts and guess what, he sure did! I ordered mine in MGM on Sept 5th, and got it the next day (minus the hood bulge that had a small chip in the paint, so he ordered that and i got it today, the 12th). They are out there, you just gotta call around. I am beyond stoked!

 

does everyone on here that has place their order with Roman have a non TRD Pro color Tundra?

 

I ordered mine in April; Silver Sky Metallic...so black then painted SSM.

I am curious on what a white grille painted blue would look like compared to a black grille painted blue. Seeing all those posts from other members already receiving their grilles when they just ordered them only weeks ago is starting to get frustrating.

 

Hey @Roman , I just talked to another parts rep at another toyota dealership and they said that they have been discontinued?? I placed my order on 6/5, is this true? Will we even ever get them?? Thanks in advance.

 

I've gotten three shipments in this week. They are NOT discontinued.
