Hello all, just bought my first Tundra about a month ago. It is a 2017 SR5 with TRD off road package and is completely stock. Looking to do some mods and first on my list is swapping out the chrome grill for the TRD Pro grill. My question is will the newer style from 2018-2021 fit my 2017? Thanks in advance...

Fits fine. Or you can use the other design TRD from 2016. Either one will fit.

If you use the 2018+ grill, those have the tss sensor, so you need a cover or sensor for that area, added cost.

This is the 2018+, you can see the sensor/cover under the letters.

This is the 2016 version....no sensor or cover needed.

I ordered white color matched pro grill and hood bulge with the 20% sale from Fred Anderson Toyota in Nov. estimated delivery time is September. They asked if I wanted to cancel, said no, it’s a great price and I’m in no rush. So you may have a little wait, fyi.

Dang!!! I ordered my Army Green pro grille, hood bulge, and TSS cover from Fred Anderson during a sale as well and everything came in a week. Hood bulge was even damaged and I was able to send it back/get a replacement within another week. White must be more popular but man an ~10 month wait is crazy.

My guess is that the white is purchased most often to have it repainted another color. I know my Pro grill ordered via Sparks Parts was originally white under the Cement they paint matched with.

Yeah, crazy. My LED lights came in about a week. They have the hood bulge, it’s just the grill that’s back ordered.

    Welcome to the forum.
As others stated I'd try to find a 2016 - 2017 before they started with the TSS in the grille.
You might find it with a color-matched surround depending on what color your truck is.

I had to get my surround painted locally in 2015, they didn't make a TRD Pro in MGM that year.

Parked next to a stock truck like mine right after I did the swap.
But I added TRD Pro halogen haedlights
I also pulled the TOYOTA letters and had them match painted since I had to do the surround.

With my MGM truck the stock headlights looked terrible with the new grille.

But these days the 2018 + OEM LED TRD Pro headlight upgrade would be the way to go.

Then Bumpershellz for a complete chrome delete.

There are also several aftermarket kits you can find for this job.
I can't vouch for any of them.
Maybe do a little searching and you can find more info on them.

Again welcome, you'll find we are happy to help you spend money on your Tundra...
