I'm considering doing a full TRD Pro grille, bulge, and end cap swap. I'm still torn as to whether I should also do the headlights. I've seen both, but can't really decided what looks best. Aside from aesthetics, is there any other reason to swap the SR5 Headlights to Pro's?

I did that as well with the TRD grill and I'm going to do a headlight retrofit and have the inside painted black like they are on the TRD headlights.

Yeah theres a reason...the TRD Pro headlights are not only black in the inside, they weigh 75% less and are constructed of aircraft grade plastic housings. The technologically advanced interior design makes these puppies shine like a spotlight giving it about 100% more offroad capabilities. Factor in the extra 17 HP, paired with being completely water proof, and you have yourself the ultimate amphibious exploring vehicle.

honestly there are plenty of good aftermarket headlights that look the same if not better and will handle and shine the same.

I went with the TRD headlamps, but this is a temporary solve until I can send them off to be retro fitted and will use the standard headlamps during that time period.

Unfortunately, retro's aren't in the budget.

Kinda sad that people pay a pretty penny for a pro and Toyota only gives them a SR5 blacked out headlight
