The 2022 Forged BBS Tundra Wheels are now available for ordering. The part # is PT960-34220-2F and they retail for $830.xx per wheel. The deeper discounting Toyota dealers will be able to sell them in the upper $500 range. I have single wheel inbound and should have full specs and pictures of it this coming week.

Am I reading these measurements right that the offset is +47.5 (or nearly +50) for the TRD Pro wheels?

The TRD OffRoad (18 in) have a +60 offset, so I wouldn't be surprised if you're correct.

Damn!!! I mean I like but pricey…anyone know the weight of these bad boys?

Given that we haven’t been seeing much “deep discounting” save the few/regular Cool Springs and Sparks folks I will garner these things will also have a ‘Market Adjustment’ applied to them by the other dealers given that they are sure to be hot commodity’s

I am officially priced out I will say…especially if I were to still consider the TRD lift kit (sometime in the distant future).

The wife will say it’s ‘either/or’…not both or maybe neither given everything else I would like to do with the cash.

Yes, 47.5mm offset, a pinch over 6.5" back spacing.

These will come stock on the TRD Pro.

I'm hopeful Toyota will introduce a lower priced version as they did with the Gen 2.5 PT960-34190-2F Pro BBS wheels. Those retail for $819, and sell at a similar discounted price. Toyota then introduced a non Pro version of the same wheel with TRD in place of the Pro PT960-34200-02 that retails for $610 and can be had for mid $400s each. Still not cheap, but better.

I figured they would be 18x8 but it looks like they are 18x8.5 which means the national tire dealers will not give anyone crap about going with 35x12.5 tires...

How deep are those pockets cut out in the back of the wheel? Thanks for all the info, greatly appreciated.

    1) Those look awesome.
    2) I'll wait until the aftermarket knockoffs come out in a couple of years.

In my mind...the 4R/FJ/Taco TRD Pro wheels are still the top of the mountain for TRD Pro wheels. I keep hoping/wishing that someone in the aftermarket comes out with an 18" version of this bad boy. It's doubtful at this point, but a man can dream. There are a few attempts from aftermarket manufacturers, but they don't look near as good as this.

I'm 99% positive that these older style OEM wheels are cast aluminum.

Granted, not as strong as forged but they've been on my 2012 4R since 2013. They've held up well for nearly 10 years.

Any idea which dealers have these in the $500 range? My local dealer has them for $625, and has no idea when they will be in stock...

That may be a “steal” considering what some other dealers may want to charge knowing that there will be a demand for them.

You should probably consider putting down a deposit/order at that price for whenever they come in…if you consider shipping from another dealership it may just be a wash.

Any dealer that will discount more than 30% will break into the upper $500. I'll dig around and try to find out how much meat remains in these.

This weight/amount of material is likely required to meet a certain strength and durability standard. The older 5 lug 18" BBS Pro Wheels are about the same weight. I always cringe at the low weights on some wheels.

Forged wheels are not cheap, but ya get what ya pay for! Lighter wheels lessens the unsprung weight, which benefits handling, acceleration and braking.

Where did you end up ordering your single from? I placed an order with my dealer earlier this week, and they said they would have at least a rough ETA by today - I just called in, and they have no clue when it will ship. Would love to figure out how to find 4x of these in stock, I've got my leveling kit and tire upgrade on hold until I have them :(

My local dealer here in North Adams, MA. It was possibly one of the first units sold, as it shipped out the main Toyota Parts distribution center in California.... and I believe my parts guy said there were not too many there at that time. As supply builds, accessory parts like wheels get pushed out to the regional parts centers.

They do have them in 18" but for the 2.5 gen, 5 lug. I had the same set, 17" on my 17 Taco, loved them. I looked into the BBS Pro for my 2.5 gen, but too much $$$$ and the offset isn't aggressive as I would like. I am on spacer and 60mm offset right now. Just ordered SCS Ray10 in Matte Bronze. Those are Flow Formed, which makes them light @27lbs and stronger than OEM cast. Plus they have the offset I want 25mm

It gunna be hilarious when every Tundra has TRD Pro wheels except for all the TRD Pro’s, because they sold theirs to other Tundra owners and bought aftermarket wheels.

Hopefully it’s being sold to purchase more aggressive offset forged wheels (or just for the profit cause one doesn’t care about strength/weight)
