Aren't the miles way too high for a lease? OP said about 27K with a year left. Most leases are 12k a year right? How much would you have to pay per mile in overages? Seems like it would only make sense if you bought it at the end.

Depends on the lease agreement. I know someone with 22k mile per year mileage limits. This changed his downpayment and monthly payment. (Believe he put down 8k and paying 500.00 per month...yeah, he got a big dick in his ass and ended up with a F150 he doesn't like)
You're right though. Most standard cookie cutter lease agreements are 10-15k a year and anywhere from .10-.25 cents per mile over. So potentially the person who assumes this lease could be on the hook for....~$3750.00 mileage overages.
I leased once. At the time it made sense due to the fluid cash flow I needed at the time. However, I went into it knowing in the end it would be purchased.

You are right. My discussion with OP, he said it would make sense to buy at the end of the lease which I was planning to do if I get the truck. He hasn't been responding so may be he has changed his mind or tied up with something else....
Like how fast he can drive on Autobahn once he moves to Germany. :burnrubber:

Sorry again everyone, now the dealership is telling me they are interested and might actually be interested in at least the topper and fogs (eye candy on the show room floor). As of now, that is the best offer I have, besides an offer to possibly sell for me after I left the country, so I have to hear them out. I also am still waiting for toyota financial to send me the papers. AAAAAAAAAnd, tomorrow I leave on my farewell tour to say goodbye to family.

I apologize for keeping everyone on the hook. Don't mean to be a tease lol.

Ha! I'm looking for a daily right now.. This is within my budget but it doesn't solve the fuel economy part of it..

I would have two MGM Tundras though..

One more update because I keep getting this question.

You are not on the hook for any mileage overage fees if you purchase the truck at the end of the lease.

This deal is best for those that want to buy after the lease. I'm not saying there will be a lot of miles over, but there will be some.

Also, I'm not slow rolling to start a PM bidding war, which is happening. It is about the easiest deal for me, not the most lucrative. On my plate which I am trying to sort out in order of importance:
    -My family
    -My house
    -My stuff
    -My guns
    -My truck

Work is crazier for me now as well, because everyone is finding out I'm leaving and trying to scramble to figure out what to when I'm gone as well as ask for extra work before I walk out the door.:crapstorm:

This weekend I will try to designate some time to sitting down and looking at all the offers I've received and make phone calls to get this thing moving.

    Sorry again :notsure:

    HAHAHAHAHA, nice.

I just made a decision on those. My brother in law will be their foster father while I'm gone. Gonna go halvsies on a gun safe and let him play with them while I'm gone.
