    Is this true?
…The dealer won’t charge you the labor price?

That’s not been my experience when I took delivery of a dealer option (something not installed at the factory or Port like TSS) which I thought the TRD kit was.

I understand some trucks are allocated with accessories from Factory but my understanding was that the TRD kits was dealer installed so I would expect one would pay the labor cost even if it’s rolled into the overall cost you finance upon delivery.

I'm not going to put it past a dealer trying to charge for labor but every time I've bought and had the option added during the sale, labor was free. They wanted to make a sale. Things may be different now due to more demand than available.

I sure wish there was an emoji for 'Moving the Goalposts'!

Anyhow, Texas 'Teacher', as you pointed out in another post, these opinions are subjective. If I can't figure out something better, I'm totally good with the OEM lift value equation. Yes it's possible that maybe I could save a few hundred bucks and even get 18" more of lift....but nah.

    You do you.

I hope I didn't violate the valuable advice of 'remember not to feed the trolls!'

I've been searching for the same information. Last I heard was mid summer but does not sound like anytime soon. Dying for this lift!

How did you work your deal haha? That price is legit. Would love to get it in my Platinum for that cost.

I called all local dealers to see about purchase and install. They all ran the part number and said it was good but not in stock, price 4000. I got a price online including shipping of roughly 2700, it was in stock at the online dealer I checked with.
When I talked to local dealerships I told them what I could get it for and they wouldn’t or couldn’t touch it. I did get a price on installation of 820 from one local dealership. All of the dealers I spoke with hadn’t installed any on 2022s yet. All shops called were in SE Louisiana

Yup…that’s the story it seems for most places west of TX and in the NE specifically.

My dealer here actually does price match (including shipping)

What are the part numbers? I can’t find them posted anywhere. And does anyone have part numbers for a TRD kit for the hybrid?

As stated in Maharisc post above, PY-CCY 34000 is the part number.

I checked the part number for just the UCA in this kit. Only $230 each. Wondering if these could be installed on a Pro without the rest of the kit. Anyone know if a kit for the Pro is in the works?

It appears you can. Just pulled it up on oemgenuineparts.com which show them for $179 each.

Would rather use the money on fox or king. “TRD” kit not worth it.
