Ok it arrived today, I picked it up and installed it.

Key notes you need a 14mm socket, and you will need a lift. To get the old one out and the new one in the truck has to be up in the air to contort it around the rear end of the truck.

Also worth noting, the sound didn't change from stock, maybe 10% raspier...doubt even that.

Looks good! Does that eliminate a resonator?

For anyone wanting a sound clip:
    https://youtu.be/SN4CgEbBaQg

The guy in the video kind of trash talks it but honestly if you just want a tiny bit of extra sound, I don’t think it sounds bad at all.

I can confirm if your expecting a drastic sound change this isn't it.

However it looks the part, adds the smallest bit of sound depth and the price is right.

I think I read a quote somewhere recently that suggested "unless your twin turbo V6 is Italian, no one wants to hear more of it."

I like the TTV6 in these trucks, but they're simply never going to have the sound of a V8. It's physics, and we aren't changing it. I like the TTV6 exhaust note for what it is, but recognize most of us will always prefer that deeper and more resonant V8 sound. So it goes.

    :notsure:
Guess I'm just in the minority. I think there's a few mufflers out there that do give these trucks a deeper tone and sound fantastic.

But I also think 90% of V8 trucks with exhaust sound like absolute garbage so there's that.

If you took those exact same 6 zylinders and arranged them in a straight line with a 120° crank it'll then sound like a wailing banshee. It's the V that screws the 6 zylinder in the exhaust pooch.

Does that popping exist with a load on the motor? I hope not. That's the part of the V6 that I'm hoping to avoid. Has dirtydeeds announced anything yet?

Dirtydeeds has had an exhaust out for the '22 probably going on 2 months now. The popping sound is him bouncing off the rev limiter, but also normal of almost any engine when revving like that.

Part # isn’t in the system for us in the US. I guess it’s not available yet in the states

Doesn't sound like it's quite hitting the rev limiter. I hope you're right though.

Not the entire time but definitely hits it at about 54 seconds. I still agree that it's not the greatest sounds though haha

No problem. I don't have the funds now but I definitely think mating Keith's setup with these dual TRD outlets is gonna be my setup for sure.

There has got to be a second piece to order which would be a performance muffler.

I gave the part number to a dealer and he said there’s none in this region but he sees a lot of back orders that won’t start filling until end of august.
