Is there any way you could measure the outside diameter of the TRD lid outlet? I believe the factory is 3.75”. Just wondering if the TRD’s is 4”

I still haven’t had a chance to install mine. Something about having to be home.

TRD intake accelorator, TRD intake box top, aFe “not so” super stock intake. Ended up with vibrant couplers as well. Also put a radium catch can at same time. I’m extremely happy with the results. Looks and sounds great.

Quick question. I have a 2015 TRD Pro. I already have the TRD Box. Does the TRD Box already have the air intake accelerator installed or do I need to purchase that and add it in??

Never know until you check. Pull your lower box and remove from your fender to confirm. Should take less than 30mins with beer break included.

I know this is an old thread, but can I just replace the top and use the OEM parts (Tubes) that came with my truck?

You can but that won't change much. The straight tube that comes with the TRD intake makes the biggest change. The stock tube has a protrusion on it.
So if you want the cooler looking lid, go for it. But your performance and sound won't be changing much if any.

My 22 Frontier has an OEM cold air intake. No need to spend $300 or $400 plus on a CAI for little if nothing to gain. Buy a RCI skid......
