I read alot of bad and some good but I went ahead anyways and had it installed. Wow I love the sound low rpms and high rpms! I am really glad I did it. It's still under my warranty and on my service records along with everything else done to my truck. The next install in a week or so will be flowmaster catback outlaws with the black ceramic tips!

I've heard mostly good things about the trd intake. How much did it set you back?

Bought it from www.trdsparks.com for about 415 paid the dealer 105 for 1.5 hours of labor. So 520 all together.

You will lose low end torque with that exhaust. Unless you just have to have dual exhaust like myself, a single out keeping your existing rear side exit pipe is your best option to keep that low end.

If you have to have duals see if you can't get a strait thru muffler design and an x-pipe. That will give you minimal low end loss.

I had a TRD CAI on my old Tacoma and I loved it. I would love to get one for the Tundra. They look so damn good too.
