    If your transmission temperature light comes on, you will spend more than that getting the fluid changed. Its one of the items that is needed when running such a large trailer with a Tundra.

    My 2016 had the factory cooler, the trans temp would get to a little over 240F on the worst long hills. That was staying in S4 with tow/haul on, would’ve been worse if in D. Personally I would want to avoid getting to 250F+. The more shifting your transmission does the more heat it creates, S mode with a way to monitor the temps will be your friend. Keep in mind there are two sensors in the trans, want to watch both.
