Very nice!! Who needs a house on a concrete slab, when you have one of those! Seems like a lot of people are selling their houses and living in RVs and campers these days. 7 different rv parks in and around my town are jam packed all the time.

Thank you. We travel around the country (mostly coastal for fishing) and live in it full time.

Love my blackstone griddle. I bought a fitting and hose that allows me to plug into the low pressure rv quick connect on the side of the travel trailer. Don’t need to use the little green bottles anymore.

I don’t remember where I ordered them, but Lowe’s probably has them too.
They are called cordless blinds. They are a stiff fabric, and you just grab the bottom bar and lift to the desired height and it stays there.

Like most of you (probably), I don’t have a lot of drawer space. I highly recommend this magnetic knife rack. It’s strong enough to hold a skillet, so you’ll definitely not have to worry about your knives falling. 6E2809B6-249A-462C-9D62-899A932B5D5C.jpg

I converted my full sized bed to a king sized 11” latex bed. I had to rebuild the platform and raise the nightstands. I also installed 110 outlets with dual 2.1 usb outlets in each nightstand.
The only downside is that now it’s literally a BEDroom. There’s about a foot of space on each of the three sides other than the head. Lol

I also had an extra mirror, so I turned it into a headboard.

Couple things arrived today, got a new trim n garnish for my fantastic fan. I had it installed it on the pop up for only 2 months so I removed it before selling. Had to get a new garnish because I cut the orginal down to for the pup . Can't wait to install this, the factory fan mine has is a joke. Also got my led LED lights, these are made by the same company just led models so footprints will all be the same. I installed the same ones on my pop up and they are awesome, very nice at night.IMG_20190114_172724020.jpg IMG_20190114_172503182.jpg

I recommend a TPMS. First time out with mine I blew a tire and had $9k in damage from eating into the camper. If you boondock I recommend the Wave heaters. Uses very little propane and no electricity. They also work a high elevations. I do not even use a half a tank in hunting camp for 10 days. I also converted the TV to 12 volt so I never need to start the generator with the solar panels deployed.

If not already installed, switch lights to LED. Very useful when camping without shore power. A whole lot less power drain. We also have a Renogy 100W "Solar Suitcase". Usually recharges the battery in 3 - 4 hours in sunny or partly cloudy skies.

Been thinking about one of those (solar panel) Do you have a pic or a link? Do you wire in a charge controller?

Got the same solar charger for my monster 12v Trojan T1275 battery on my camper. It’s a nice feeling to let your wife use whatever power she wants all day and still go to bed with 13~+ volts

Comes with its own charge controller. Best investment I’ve made in my camper.

Then I got rid of the dinky 10’ power cable attached to the solar panel and replaced it with a 25’ powerwerx connector. Got a quick connect powerwerx connector on my trailer battery and secondary tundra battery. Great mod to take full advantage of sunlight, as we all want to park in the shade...

Build up a tool kit. Carry a spare set of wheel bearings and races for the axles. Channel locks, needle nose, latex gloves and pre-pack the bearings with grease and keep them in a zip lock. Tire pressure gauge, 1/2 breaker bar with the right socket, and a decent bottle jack. I carry an arsenal of different wood blocks for leveling. If you are electrically inclined then carry a meter, and some electrical tools, I carry some 1/2 shark bite plumbing fittings like caps, couplings, and a valve incase a line breaks, but my trailer is plumbed in 1/2 pex. If you have a slide then familiarize yourself with how to retract it if the motor doesn't work. It can be done but it ain't easy. If it dies in the out position you are stuck. Finally keep your roof SPOTLESS and sealed in all the caulk joints.

Great idea on the sharkbites, mine is 1/2" pex as well. I already ordered me extra bearings and races, I did that with my old pop up as well. Also picked up a new toolbox to keep in this camper and already filled it up.

Well got a few things done on the camper the past few weeks,

*All exterior lights swapped out for Led units. Factory lights were Optronics incandescent and I found that they sell the same units but in led so all the footprints matched up.

*Radio inside had a standby feature that even when not playing it glowed blue, I added a switch next to it so I can totally isolate it now and turn off.

*Added a set of reverse lights, already had a set of led pods I never got to install on the pop up so used them on this camper.

*Found out 3 milk crates fit perfect in the rear storage hatch so now things are organized.

*Added peel and stick tile to the wall behind the stove for a cheap and easy backsplash.

    *Made a stove cover.

*Ordered Goodyear Endurance tires, even though the tires on it are new I am one who likes to upgrade them for peace of mind. I have had to many buddies with blowouts on there campers with cheaper tires.

*Added a 7way plug to the trailer tongue that I use to store the campers 7way plug so its out of the weather. I also made it so if I push all the way in then the camper running lights can be illuminated.

other then that I have just been buying things I needed like sewer hose, tank treatment tabs stuff like that.

I'm almost ready for camping season! Things left to do

    *Find sheets for the beds

    *make sink cover

*Might switch over to Aluminum wheels with the new tires, I like the Raceline Mambas.

There are a lot of good ideas here. I liked reading them all.

I had trouble with the black tank monitor showing 1/2 or 3/4 full when I knew it was empty. It would do this even after flushing the tank. I did some research and came up with a solution I use right after we dump. We put 1 cup of Calgon water softener, a 1/2 cup of Dawn and only 1 tank tablet (instead of 2) with 2 gallons of water. On the drive home, it will slosh around coating the tank and keeping "crud" from sticking to the sensors.

A 6 gallon water jug is handy if your camping too far from water hookups for a hose. Or if you're like me, don't like to unwind/wind 2-3 sections of hoses to get to the spicket.

It's just my wife and me, so we use a table top Weber to grill. We prefer it over the gas grills because we like the smoke flavor in our food. I use B&B Charcoal 100% oak briquets. They don't give the chemical taste that regular briquets do. But, when the kids and grandkids come to visit, this grill isn't big enough. So, I found a tripod grill at Menard's that goes over the campfire. It is great for cooking a bunch of burgers, brats and hot dogs at once. I couldn't find it on their website, no link.
