    How does everyone measure trans temp before letting excess fluid out ?

    I use the below linked OBD2 reader along with the corresponding app. I shift through the gears as described in the procedure, then jump under the the truck along with my phone to monitor temps and then drain fluid as specified. Read through the procedure a few times and watch a few videos. During the procedure is not the time for figuring it out.

    In general, "The Car Care Nut" had excellent videos on Toyota maintenance.
