This may sound strange... I bought the Tundra because it reminded me so much of the Ford interior, which I do like. I opted out of the Ford because I have always had great experiences with every Toyota I have ever owned, and I mean, not even a trip to the dealership for any reason. That's too bad your Ford was going bad at only 58K miles!

    Not nearly enough room here!
Back when I was truck shopping in 2010, I joined a F-150 Forum to get some inside info on the trucks. I was ready to bail, when I read about some of the same issues happening repeatedly and posters replying with comments like, "well it had 67,000 miles on it,what'd ya' expect?" When I asked a simple question about Timing Chains or Belts between the 5.4 V8 and Tundra's 5.7, I got called some names with language I've NEVER heard on this Forum. I just couldn't hang....I was totally 'out-classed'.o_O:devil:

67,000 Whoaa!!! That is a disgrace for a modern vehicle... I am sure everybody on here agrees! While there is no "perfect" engine or drive train, I have not heard much about the 5.7, and I think that is great. You won't hear much about good engines, but you will definitely hear about the bad ones.
