Well in a rather weird turn of events… dealer called and said Truck should be in tonight and available tomorrow

 

thats great, congrats. I just tracked it again and see its on a truck for delivery. Post pics when you get it

 

Dealer texted me today and said the hold will expire by 10/17 still on hold for parking brake. The wait continues

 

Curious to see if my baby has boarded a train yet. Any info would be appreciated as I can't even get my salesperson/sales manager to return my emails or calls, even when asking for more accessories to be added so I can give them more money... weird times indeed!

So if I have a truck on a QC hold with the same issue (electronic parking brake), it is a reasonable expectation that it would be resolved by 10/17 based on Toyota's own estimates?

I got the new Vin today. Dealer says this truck was built a couple days ago. But can't tell me where it is.

No vehicle found, Im assuming youre under Southeast Toyota...possibly SC with the name ClemsonPatriot. If so, I have no access to Southeast Toyota vehicles

 

I am curious if there is there ever any further information shared by Toyota with a customer on why vehicles are on a QC hold? I saw the 30 day hold so assume its for investigation and/or 'parts'. I suspect it is because they would rather not let customers know it was built with a defect.....
