I’m in the same boat .. Truck was built 6/20 and it’s still just sitting at the factory!
QC hold has been taken care of and that was several weeks ago already. I’m noticing that trucks built in July are already being delivered to customers. I don’t get it

Is there anyone left here who can run a VIN for status?

Ittook a month to travel from San Antonio to another part of Texas?!

If it cleared the recall status doesn’t that mean it’s at the dealer bc someone did the recall?

Unless it was waiting for some weird part to fix the recall. Maybe pop into the dealer to make sure they didn’t put it on the showroom floor to sell more vehicles as a display model.

I should have done that with multiple dealerships too. Smart.

That’s definitely fair! I just wish we could get a better idea of when our trucks will actually be delivered. I need it for work and also had to cancel travel plans based on the promised delivery times my dealer originally gave us. If it’s going to be several more months of additional wait time I might have to cancel my order unfortunately

I’m in the same boat as everyone waiting for theirs to be loaded on a truck and delivered to the dealer. It will be 3 weeks tomorrow. No QC holds and the dealer apparently knows nothing lol. Boy, this is frustrating. I think it’s crazy the dealer isn’t doing more to track these down. My dealer is waiting on 3 Tundras. I would think they’d want to sell them ASAP to free up for more allocations. Idk. Just pissed. End rant.

Definitely hope that’s true! Only thing I can think is that I’ve seen a ton of people say theirs came off hold mid July. There must be a flood of trucks ahead of mine and only so many drivers contracted to ship Toyota.

I’m assuming even though it said rail depart, it sat at the factory due to the recall freeze or some other reason. I mean, it’s about a 3 hour drive from San Antonio to Houston.

I get that it’s a massive logistics operation and supply chain and trains and driver shortages, but I wish I could just drive to the VPC or even the factory and pick it up myself. Both trips would be 4 hours or so.

Does anyone know what it means if your truck was listed on the dealer website but then no longer shows up? Mine showed under inventory, now it doesn’t show up in their system under inventory anymore. It was up there and showed as “In transit”under the listing description of the truck

Typically vehicles will show up on website inventory once they are built, in transit, or on the lot regardless on whether or not they are presold. The dealer can pull the vehicle from website inventory once it shows up. Sometimes there is a delay. I wouldn’t take it as meaning anything.

Thank you for the info. My hope is that it’s further along in shipping than what Toyota’s system showed and that it will actually arrive between the 10th and 15th like the dealer stated

This sounds like all Minnesota dealerships. I am waiting on one with Maplewood Toyota and they too are not getting stock. I finally got a reply from them today though and they said "but by the looks of that same form that you see it says on truck for delivery 8/16" so fingers crossed things are changing here.

Mine did the same as well as several other VINs that I was tracking for data analysis. All off of the dealers' websites.
All of the VINs that were taken down previously had an ETA with a July date. The VINs with an August ETA are still up.

On a positive note, my truck was unloaded last night and is finally off of the rail car. As far as I can tell, its still sitting in Lordstown, just in the the car lot instead of rail siding.

I hear you. Yours is the closest to my build date I have seen. Mine was built 4/29 and was put on a train 7/27. Still waiting for arrival to the port (which is supposed to be Friday).

I’ve tried that BNSF number and it still says the car was accepted by shipper in Kirby (San Antonio) on30 July . I take that as the car made it SA but it was loaded and shipped on 4th.

Yep - platinum hybrid in red. Does seem like something weird happened in that timeframe where stuff just got stuck. Very disheartening seeing build dates of July and those people getting their trucks WAY fast…

I’ve tried tracking as well with the rail but only get that the train car number was unloaded in December in California… I tried customer service but CSX requires to have an account in order to talk with a real person.

Just heard from the dealer. Truck is in FI status AGAIN. It shows QC hold, vehicle under study. Check back every Friday. This is getting ridiculous. This is the Second QC hold on this truck now
