Dealer allocated 5/10 , scheduled build 7/9, built early, 6/24, shipped 6/26, train unloaded fri 7/15 , dealer said it arrived over weekend we will say saturday 7/16
deposit down 3/3 will pickup 7/19 , so 138 days from time of deposit till truck

no QC holds

had to drive down and snap a picture of it on the dealer lot, I'm excited

My dealer just told me my truck is out of QC hold. His words were "It has been released from the inspection process and has been put back into processing for delivery to our dealership".

Anyone else get the word that theirs has been released from the QC hold?

My build date was 6/25 and my original dealer eta was 7/17 which has obviously since past and I haven't been told of a new arrival date. During the QC hold my truck was at the factory.

@Iwantone22 Mine also says last updated 7/16. I'm not sure that date matters considering it didn't change when the recall first came up.

Sales guy and my conversation yesterday - "Yeah we're able to do that fix in 20 minutes! No idea why yours is taking so long" "Is there any communication with the port, can you get an update?" "No" " Is there a regional manager that will at least give an update on the hold situation in general?" "No"

 

Hoping my truck gets put on Ground Transport today to the dealer- hoping to have it by the weekend. Do the dealers update at a certain time every day or is it in real time as things happen? Any help would be appreciated!

Mine arrived at the railhead/port/whatever in Lordstown, Ohio on 7/14 and was "Constructively Placed."
My understanding is that means that the truck is still loaded on the rail car and waiting to be unloaded.
Is anyone else waiting for their truck to be unloaded at Lordstown? Has anyone else seen unloading take a week (or more?)

Thanks Bobby. Looks like the port of Newark, NJ is operating at snails pace. I’m guessing Toyota Logistics is dealing with short staffing and other national issues.

 

Yay.....mine no longer shows the recall and hopefully arrive at the dealership soon.

Yep my truck went to Lordstown on 7/5! Driving me crazy it's only an hour away and yet I can't get any info on it? What Toyota Dealership are you working with? What model did you order?

 

Bobby: how often do they typically update the recall pages?
