Correct... Somehow mine didn't pop for the first PVM recall, but today popped for the new one... Really bad timing, as I was just in this past weekend for the Axle one haha... This one can wait, as I'm not having any issues as of yet...

Thanks for clarifying but when I look my VIN up, its says I have no recalls. Build date 6/26 at rail 6/30 and went on QC hold like the rest. Maybe they cleared mine? (wishful thinking) but its still not showing up on dealers site.

This is what I get when looking up my VIN for recall today: An error occurred with your request. Recall information for your vehicle is not available at this time. Please contact Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. by phone at 1-800-331-4331 for recall information about your vehicle.

Go to Toyotas Recall page and try it... the NHTSA site gave me that same error...

Yep, mine did too... Bad timing on their part haha... I was just in the shop Saturday for the Axle recall... Oh well, mine doesn't appear to have the issues mentioned in this one, just the same as the last... And since this isn't a safety concern in my eyes, it can wait until my first service...

At least you have your truck. Last known location of my truck was leaving the plant on rail June 9th. No update since then until it got placed on QC hold on Monday, with still no arrival to the rail yard.

What's strange is mine was On Truck for Delivery 7/1-7/11 and as of the 12th it was put in QC Hold. From the sound of it the truck left the rail yard and was given a date to be at the dealer but never showed up. So where is it now?

Looking to get an update and advice 1st can you please tell me when these are supposed to hit the dealers please and 2nd in every ones opinion would they get the 5.5' bed or the 6.5' bed i personnel like the idea of the 6.5' bed over the 5.5' but im torn since i am told the 5.5' will arrive sooner and sooner is more appealing as this waiting is for the birds

    5TFMA5EC6NX008990 - 1794 6.5' bed
    or
    5TFMA5DB0NX040858 - 1794 5.5' bed

What do you all think might be the ETA at the dealer? I'm told my truck went on the train on 1 July. Checked, no recalls and seems to be no QC checks/holds. 5TFMC5DB5NX005341

    I'm in West Virginia.

With a July Build date you might be ok. I'm picking up mine from West Virginia as well and it was built on 6/14, on rail on 6/21 and arrived this past weekend but on QC hold.

Looks like I'm a week and 3 days behind you. Did yours arrive at the railyard this weekend or did it make it to the dealer?

With my handy curl script this showed up. Still in code "F". Once it hits "G" you're 2-3 days out usually.

    eta":{"currFromDate":"2022-07-20","currToDate":"2022-07-25"}

You're missing 2 characters from your VIN.

    Mine still returns nothing. =(

Those of you wondering if your truck is involved in the QC hold can simply run your vins on Toyotas Recall checker on their website. If you see an open campaign for your vehicle its safe to assume its part of the hold. At least that’s the way I understand it

Yes mine showed the one recall for the back up issue but it says no longer active as of 7/1: does that mean it was corrected ?

truck was supposed to be build on 7/7, dealer gave me the VIN today (I’m assuming since it has a perm VIN, it’s built) but said he wouldn’t have any updates for me till Friday afternoon. Can someone please look into this for me. Thank you in advance!

This waiting game is so NOT fun. Dealer finally called tonight and offered an apology and no new news. Said that data is coming slow at best.

He gets points for being honest. . .

Ya I feel bad for them honestly. They just don’t have access to any information. So they do the best they can, but it’s quite the crapshoot.

If it makes you feel better, I was called in early April saying they had gotten an allocation for a truck that was very close to my specifications. They sent me the spec sheet and I accepted. Put down $2k and signed. Truck was built 4/29 and I was told end of May maybe beginning of June. Then those dates came and went and was told probably mid-June.

Well my truck is STILL at the factory with no ETA…

I’m doing my best to be patient, but it definitely has been a frustrating process at times. I think the worst part is there are no alternatives… you just have to wait.
