Yep - chesapeake. It was like pulling teeth trying to get 1794/off road in Central Atlantic. I literally had to track down the head dude in charge of allocation requests or whatever at Central Atlantic. Everyone up until then just said we aren't getting any and it is what it is. Of course once mine was allocated, that opened the door to more coming in haha

 

Is there a way to track once they load on a truck?

Great info @cdq85 ! Thanks for all you do. Just patiently waiting still for mine. Last update showed 6/30 - 7/5. But I still haven’t heard anything from the dealership. Hoping that it’s still on the way. @TJCooke and I saw our VINs cleared of the recall on the axle but bolts. Would that be done at the port? Or would it be done at the factory? Or either one? Either way would love an update if you can.

Yeah more or less. I have a work trip to the east coast July 11-14, so I was planning on picking up the 15th and heading north. All dependent on if it’s actually at the dealer by then of course!

 

I agree, this dude is the only one saying things without any evidence to back it up. If I saw a screenshot of my status Id be more likely to believe it.

 

Thanks for the info. I think what’s throwing us all off is we all have been told by several sources that yes, we CANNOT go by the little blue timeline. We have also been told that the timeline will not update many times until the truck has been delivered.

We’re all just trying to get some information on our trucks. Especially hard for a few of us who have build dates way back and others seem to be getting their trucks so much faster. Very very hard to try and figure out what is happening.

 

Got it - bummer it has been sitting there so long. I know Saleen and Dark waited longer than I have so far. Any insights if it is a Pacific Northwest specific issue? Seems other regions are getting their trucks much quicker.

Id like to apologize for my comments. So those dates are just projections that would add up in a perfect world probably calculated by computers to my understanding? Your explanation makes sense. So realistically I won't see my truck until end of summer most likely?

 

Appreciate all the clarification. What’s an accurate timeline to expect after like mine for example says “At Portland and Tendered to Carrier: BNSF”? Is it a couple day? a week? multiple weeks Before it’s on a truck? Or is it more or less a crap shoot right now?

 

Sounds great. We all appreciate the intel from the few out there that can provide what you can for information. Makes a few of us anxious people a little more sane.

 

I am located in western Washington and my truck was built 6/3 and went to Renton, WA. trailhead and was delivered to dealer 6/24. I may have just been lucky. Also didn't know Renton was a rail destination.

I come in peace in the hopes that someone could show me where my 4Runner is - JTERU5JR2N6069424. I checked all the 4runner forums I'm aware of, but this really seems to be the only forum with folks offering to check the dealer site for those of us who have been (im)patiently waiting.

 

Tried the rail tracking a few times with some wildly varied results, I don't think it likes the sound of my voice. I'm sure it doesnt help that T/G/P/D/etc all sound alike.
