Not found, meaning your VIN is the temp VIN which is no longer valid as your truck is built. Contact your dealer to get the permanent VIN and I'll check again for you.

@bobbilly, I have a question. Is the system you are using able to show the delivery time line for a Toyota vehicle that was bought and sold back in 2020? Just wanted to know if these records are retained in "the system" and if I could see how long it took between Production Confirmation and Delivery to Dealership was for my records. THX.

No specific tracking news but a week or two ago we finally pulled almost 2 miles worth of auto rack rail cars out of the Deadwood Wye track that had been stored since about 2015. Sent them off to get returned to service. So maybe just maybe rail shipping will improve a bit.

The shippers and RR’s have been bitching about a lack of auto racks for a couple of years now, and we had over a hundred of the damn things stored in Edgemont, SD collecting dust and rust. Each one can accommodate 10-15 vehicles depending on what they are and how many decks the auto rack has. I think there were about 130 of them, so that’s another 1300 or so slots of transportation available once the car shops get them inspected and cleared for service.

Dumbass RR managers probably forgot they were there, or didn’t want to admit they existed for fear of being excoriated by the STB and having to pay $$$ to get them inspected and back in service.
