I've been reading and asking about the toytec/eibach 3 and 1.5 shackles for my 14 tundra crew max 4x4 I drive roughly 1200 miles a month for work and I have 120k miles now wanting to lift it as I use it to hunt out of and offroad on my property hauling trailers ect...what's real world experience on this kit pretty good over all? I want kings but not in my budget and with black friday seems like toytec fits the bill will be adding either total chaos or lsk controls arms later and 35s at the minimum also will be adding a bumper by January possibly arb or road armor live in deer country driving through Louisiana and Texas for work

I would recommend the Toytec Boss kit with shackles. Had it on before. Great full kit for the price. The new Eibach one should be good too, Coilovers just aren’t fully adjustable with a screw collar.

With the Eibach kit, it is specifically designed for the factory weight of the Tundras, adding the additional weight on the front end with that kind of bumper could sag out over time.

In my opinion what I would recommend you do is as @csuviper stated, going with at least an adjustable front coilover setup to insure proper ride height/ stance both at factory ride height and when you decide to add the front bumper to it.

Feel free to shoot me a pm or a call anytime and I will be more than happy to help you out!

Don't forget about our Black Friday deals going on until Monday the 26th!!!!!

    Thanks

Can the boss kit be shimmed as well to gain any additional height I see that it has 700# springs which I like for the bumper in the future

We do not recommend "shimming" our coilover systems, they are full adjustable so that way you can dial in what your ride height can be set at :)

I have the toytec shackles in the rear and was wondering how hard is it to change them from the 1.5" to 1" setting ?

Have ToyTec give you pricing on the OME setup too. Ranch Hand bumper just might be a good fit for you too. I'm sure you see a lot of them down Texas way.

Just changing the height setting is easy. Busings are already switched so the hard part is way past done. Lift the rear frame and let the axle droop, then crank up a jack under the axle just a bit to realeve the pressure. Unbolt the shackle, crank up the jack a little more to line up the hole and rebolt.
