They will be fine... but before you do, the cost of powder coating them and getting these alumas might be close in price... just give them a look, they are not harsh at all for a 700# coil and they arw adjustable while on the truck

I can get the 6112 unassembled for 650.00 and 5160 for 350.00 ........the alumas are pretty pricey around 1200 just for the front right? Powder coating last time I asked was 100.00 bucks

That is a decent price. I was out the door w discount for 1775 for the boss resis and aluma, so yea that's a considerable difference! Everybody resents about the 6112 and 5160 for a reason !

They are very nice looking but I will not have heavy front bumper or winch if anything going with a prerunner front bumper but very simple and clean look very close to the nfab mrds set up......I was looking at staying under 1200 max trying to stay more about 1000.00

Had to go back and see what you use your truck for but seems 5100s should level you out fine. If your not adding bumpers, planning on trailering or hauling big loads, 5100s middle setting should leave you with alittle rake.
At 2500 dollars though there are a lot nicer set ups but not sure if needed for your usage.

I don't have any experience with the 6112s but on my taco i had the ome setup and those were ridiculously stiff. I now have 30 miles on these and i can say they have already settled about a 1/4 inch and they are seriously smooth. Very nice ride and not bone jarring.

Install was real easy, no joke. It took about 8 hours with two guys.

The hardest part was the drivers side diff through bolt for the diff drop. That bolt alone took about an hour to get a pair of vise grips up in there to get it tightened back down and torqued.

With those shocks do you need the CB shims for the lean?

Keep checking around, you might get lucky.

Every shop I called had a minimum fee, setup fee, blah blah blah blah. I got lucky while talking to one of the shop owners who had a big job of red stuff to do so he said bring them on in. I just had to be happy with the color code they were using for that job.

    $60 for the pair
