    Technically, we should not be ordering until we hit 20 at the vendors request- however they've been kind to everyone here... ;)

    Plus we have a whole week left before GB closes on the 13th. Can't fathom not reaching 20 by then. I'd like to see this GB do well. Want more ToyTec GB,s in the future.

    @ToyTec Lifts
    A few minutes ago on another post, I recommended getting a decent ARB tire air pressure gauge from ToyTec. I don't even have one. I have one that is adequate like most of us here but not as good as ARB's. David........ I saw the various ARB tire goodies Monday when I picked up my new black knob. If this ToyTec GB goes well.....how about another group buy? We all could use a decent ARB air pressure gauge. I held it my hand like my new shift knob. Not too expensive but any discount is great. Especially for those of us on a tight budget (or trying to make easier to explain to significant other.. Heh heh)

    Got mine in, looks great... however, I can't seem to mount it without having the toytec logo pointing away from me... package came with the knob and a nut... use just the knob and it tightens away from me. Use the nut and it still tightens away from me. Adjust the nut a half rotation, but when putting the knob back on it tightens down the nut and again, logo is pointing away from me. Judging by the pics in the thread people have gotten it right, so could someone clue me in as to what I'm doing wrong? 2017 SR5, if that matters.

    Clearly not experienced with foreign knobs and nuts... o_O

    You will have to keep adjusting the nut until you tighten the knob to the correct orientation. Worked for me. Trial and error. The knob should tighten to the nut firmly.

    The problem I'm having is when I put the nut in the location I want, then screw on the knob, it's twisting down the nut as well. When I remove the knob the nut is twisted back to the bottom again... How'd you get it to stay in place while twisting down the knob?

    I did not have this problem. You could try adding a second nut. Crank the two of then together tight and then put the knob on. Would be some trail and error to get the location set but the nuts wouldn't move then.

    yeah, I'm thinking some washers to give me a little more spacing on top of the nut... alright, off to try it.

    Two nuts are better than one. Viper was right. Try two. Trial and error until you get it.

    Drove to the airport and back with my wife. She was in the truck for close to three hours and didn't say anything about the new knob! Sure feels nice in the hand. $50 well spent!

    I think I might have inadvertently cheated by going to see David in person and picking it up in person. Whoops, now everyone's going to have to get one!
