I had the Bilsteins on my 1st gen, and now have the Toytec boss on my 3rd gen. Not really a fair way to compare. The Toytec Boss are stiffer than stock, but the springs are different, so it would be impossible to compare the shock. I am happy with the ride for my uses.

so if you had to do it again would you choose the Boss over the 6112 set up? I’m not trying to do anything crazy jumps just want to have a smooth ride and be a good ride when I do off-road a bit

Pretty sure 4wheel parts was on a recent list of places Bilstein said not to order their products from being they are not authorized dealers.

100%. Mainly because of the ease of adjustability. All I need to do is jack up the front of the truck, grab my spanner wrench and viola, any adjustment I want in minutes. (I went with the subtle bling of the silver springs over the red.). With the Bilstein 6112s its a half day job if I want to adjust the ride height.

My truck rarely goes of road and I doubt that I will ever jump it unless I happen to hit a speed bump too fast, lol. I might drive over a rock or two on occasion, or rip down a washboard road for a little while but thats it. The ride is smooth enough for me, I'm stoked on it. It's a truck and my other car is an M3 that is set up for the track, and that beast rides rough as hell.

I don't think that the Toytec Boss has an option with reservoirs, if thats what you are referring to.

    Oh. Hey. I stand corrected.

    UCAs are SPC.

"D" setting, set all the way out. I haven't had an alignment yet, but my DIY camber is right where it needs to be, (according to my DIY measurements, which are usually within 0.1 degree from my shop measurements on my track car.). and the truck drives straight and true.

I’ve got ~38k miles on my 6112/5160 setup and have had zero issues. This is my 4th Tundra and my favorite suspension setup by far, the truck rides great especially off the pavement

Get the Bilstein clamp instead of using the supplied clamps. Seen more than one fail and your remote resi is dangling because the clamps snapped or rusted away

Kinda pricy but I’d buy them again

I too am wanting a set of 6112's and 5160's from 4 wheel parts. Someone had said they were on the naughty list and so I contacted Bilstein. They said that 4 wheel parts are one of their biggest distributors and don't know anything about any list. Who knows. So of anyone knows where I can buy any 6112's since they are on back order please let me know.
