Toys for Tots run November 30th Putnam CT

As some of you may know I am new here, but I've been on Tacoma World for a very long time.



Please join us in our 8th annual Toys for Tots toy drive. We will be meeting at the Runnings store in the Stop & Shop plaza in Putnam CT on Saturday November 30th @ 9:00 to 11:30.

If you are planning to come to this event please bring a toy(s) for the donation.

Following the toy drive will be a wheeling event run by my buddy Jared who is on TW. Along with the wheeling we are planning on stopping and doing a trail side cookout.

You can also follow along on TW here as it might have more information for you but please ask if you have any questions and I'll try to answer them.

Not that anyone knows me, but I have contributed to this (only once or twice), and followed Rob's tot drives for maybe 7-8 years now. It is legit and he raises a ton of toys for kids. Jared is a very good guy too. These are heavy Toyota guys who have been doing positive things for the Tacoma community for years and years.

I'll have to send you a DM for a mailing address for a few toys as I will not be able to attend, its way far away from me!

Only a week and a half away. Anybody from here planning on going?

 

I won't be able to get down there. Hopefully a good crew shows up. Are you posting on TW as well?

 

Yes most definitely posting on TW. We usually get 20 - 30 trucks with about 40 being the high.

 

Can you donate cash or check? Betting other people will have a better idea on what type of toys the kids would enjoy. And is this ride stock full size truck doable?

 

People have come and donated cash. I send my son into the Runnings store and have him buy toys with it.
As far as a stock full size truck doing the trails. I'm not the person organizing the route we are going to. A buddy of mine who's been in there a lot this year is organizing our route. I can tell you most of the trails I'm familiar with are plenty wide and easy enough for anything stock with optional obstacles to make it interesting for built rigs.
