Yeah they have a separate control for the fog lamps, and I agree in the Tacoma be outlet. We never use it in my wife's Tacoma, waste of an option if you ask me.

As for the point about other manufactures offering different gear ratios, yes on paper they do. Try to find them in the real world, I could not find a 3.42 rati0 5.3 Silvy when I was looking for a new 1500 within 500 miles. They have the gears you don't want on the lots 3.08, I went Tundra, plus the double cab has a bunch more room then the other manufacturers double cabs.

This is probably the biggest reason I jumped ship from gm to toyota. The 5.3 is a good engine for a light truck, but not for a heavy truck or towing. No torque at low rpm. Couple that with the highway gear ratios and you've got a dog.

Yes they have the 6.2 and a 3.73 ratio, but it's not widely available. Even then, it should have 4.11 gearing.

No they're slipping on that. You have to turn on you headlights to turn on fogs. Going to add aftermarkets for that and a front and rear light bar one day.

Speak for yourself Brad. @T-Rex266 truck is a little more white when I was done with it. @COMiamiFan won't let me in his garage without supervision after that little indiscretion.

If this is a true I wonder what the reasoning would be? I can’t imagine light height would matter.

Yeah leather seats, easier for me to keep clean and the under seat cargo bins. All my previous vehicles had cloth interiors and I destroyed them. My home furnishings are leather and they have served me very well for the past 15 years, so I spent the extra money. Was well worth it. Wanted a TRD Pro but they wouldn't budge on price. Got a really good deal on the Limited, added TRD Pro shock set and exhaust, and still came out cheaper. Just had to settle for grey interior. I'm a happy camper for the last 3 years.

Yeah, my parking lights are on. During the day, the LED lowers are only on. At night they tops come on. I just use auto light setting, and push the button once at night so I make sure the lights are one. Hell, the LEDs and fog lights are pretty bright and I can forget to turn on my headlights.

Hard to tell but that looks like a 115kv SF6 breaker. Now we are speaking the same language. Spent a lot time in generating substations.
