We've had customers complain in different Toyota models that the mirror switches and window switches dont light up.

Thanks man. I believe I know what I need to do. I just have to get off my butt and act. It's that whole stepping out of my comfort zone thing.

Change can sometimes be the best thing to happen to you. Think all your options thoroughly through and if you find something that seems like a good fit go for it! A change of scenery can do great things for the mind.

Yep, I haven’t gotten at least a reach around for supplying people with hot and cold running water and an indoor shiter lol. I take $$
Brad is completely right. I’m living proof. I stayed at the same job for 16 years. It was great but I felt stuck and could not progress. I quit and found a few different jobs until the right one came along. And I’m so much more content with my change of pace, better money, Doing something similar but completely different than I used to do. I now have complete job security with full benefits, vacation time and sick time. Not to mention a really good retirement plan. I have so much more time with my family now.

In your line of work you are not going to get away from this stuff. You’ll deal with it at every dealer you go to. Don’t sweat the small shit bro. Just go back and talk crap to the fellas after.
I always ask myself, how will I feel about this in an hour, a year, or five?
Usually my answer is it will mean nothing to me and won’t affect me one bit.

I had a 2001 s10. 2 sets of ball joints, 2 u joints, rear brakes, entire emission system to the tune of $3k and 4wd would engage sometimes. I had it 5 years. I went offroad twice maybe? Just my experience, i tend to have poor luck though haha!

Who want's to pay $60K for a street princess, my Limited DC has everything I need on it for $39K, That left me money for goodies. I don't need all those creature comforts. I had an S-10 for 18 yrs, fixed a lot of shit on it, out the box I had a transmission leak....need I say more? Besides why did you buy a crap Tundra...I don't buy stuff I don't like, especially for $39K. Trade your Tundra in, they hold thier value really well. Somebody else can enjoy the truck.

Buddy of mine left here and went to work at a paving company working on their fleet vehicles and all of the equipment. Easy pace, good pay,
I'm actually looking into getting my CDL and doing OTR hauling. My kids are grown. I've got nothing but my dog holding me here. (Co pilot) my fiance is all for it. Her brother in law got his and is quite content. Hes gone Mon-Thur. Home Friday-Sunday. Great pay, excellent benefits. I do feel stuck in this place. I love working on Toyota. It's a blast. But, I'm not progressing.

my dad has the old school powerstroke, love that loud truck and the way the exhaust smells, reminds me of the turbo prop engines on a Saab 340B

I used to have a 99 Ram with the 24v Cummins. Rode like shit, was useless off road or in the snow and was falling apart from under me, but damn if it wasn't fun to drive. It's just not a diesel if you can order at a drive through without shutting your truck off

Still glad I bought a Tundra and would never go back...

Mine crapped out on me at about 300k. Well...when I say crapped out....I mean I tried to fix the distributor myself and made a $2k mistake. (Afterwards, found out all I needed was to change a module ON TOP OF THE ENGINE and not the distributor)

Sold it for about $1k with a 2k problem LOL

The first, only and last Chevy I ever had was a 1997 Chevy Cavalier I got from my wife when we got married and bought her a 4Runner. That damn Chevy just wouldn't die. Put 200k miles on it with nothing more than oil changes and a tune up every once in a while. I ended up selling it for $1k right before I got my truck.

I do, except my current pavement queen was only 50K, on top of that I just bought a BMW R1200GS and just ordered some more street-oriented tires. Neither one of my rides will see any dirt or off-road activities if I can help it. I look at it this way: the Tundra is like a big car with an even bigger trunk, the GS is a really capable corner carver with a lot of ground clearance if you put the right tires on.

I would if I were to do it all over again, but in 2015 things were different. The Limited trim is about as stripped down as one could get.

my junk is paid off, and i do actually like it. so i will keep it and continue to care for it. but im not going to dry hump it, like some in this thread. I accept it for its faults and its strengths. but i know its not perfect, nothing in life is. to think so is foolish. that's my point.

I bought a 94 Ranger brand new for 12k in 2001 it was done! Traded it in on a new Dakota quad cab with a v8 paint and trans were in bad shape by 2007! Bought a 2008 f250 the Turbo had major issues. In 2013 bought a Tacoma 4x4 TRD Sport long bed the thing still drives like new with 60k miles on it, my wife now drives it and I just bought a 2018 Tundra Limited I will never buy anything but a Toyota! I will say I think our Tacoma will go places the Tundra won’t the Tacoma is a beast and I still enjoy driving it. But the power of the Tundra is awesome.

the ranger was the best thing that ever happened to Toyota. It is the pre-toyota vehicle. My ranger stranded me 400 miles from home, purchased Tacoma instead of continuing to repair that heap of s***.

Where’s the thumbs down or boo button?!?!?

I drove by what must of been a 1st gen T100 towing a small suv, now that’s longevity and dependency!

Also what other truck looks good in the rain?!?!? Only a Tundra does... sorry bout the pole

You should have seen the stupid stuff Snooki was posting on another thread. That’s when I hit the ignore button.

Was that old tundra towing a Chevy? That would be poetic!
