I know right? I can imagine this conversation In their meeting. Toyota designers: So what can we do to make a new edition. Guy in the back ‍♂️let’s black out the same wheels and called it a Trail edition. No one will know.

 

More like, what can we do with all these parts that aren't going to the Gen4 truck?

 

looks like the collective opinion from Toyotas most loyal tundra following is:

dude, the trail edition is lame, no thanks... keep your hodge podge of recycled parts and more mismatched chrome and street tires..

Its really too bad they delayed the new tundra by two years, I was excited to see a new gen.

 

We’re in no hurry. Even the lowly Titan has had numerous updates and improvements. Current Tundra soldiers on year after year after year.... Reality is Camry and Rav4 are their bread and butter. Tundra is a mere afterthought in the grand scheme.
