Toyota Tund OEM Remote Start

New to me 2016 Platinum. Does this sticker under the hood mean I have remote start? Tried the FOB trick but no start. Could mine be after market? Also I did not get a Toyota FOB with the truck. Dealer sent me to a partner who handles all their fobs. Would this make a difference?

 

Kept trying fob trick and gogt it to start one time butu cannot repeat. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

my ‘20 sr5 has it. You have to be fairly close with the remote though.

 

Mine too is a 2020 SR5 and I have the remote start. I didn't know I had it until looking into what the push button start and remote has to offer. I was thinking of activating the app but I'm afraid if I do my remote start wont work anymore after reading what I read of what I originally posted. Some are saying its a paid service. Well I haven't paid and its workings so I'll let it go until it stops. All though I hate the remote start because it shuts off when you open or unlock the doors. Some have said an after market remote start system will shut off as well.

Yeah, no push to start, just a standard key

 

Thats why, the remote start only comes with the 20+21 if they have the push to start. The good news is that you're better off with the key start when it comes to adding a remote start because it wont shut off when you open the door like the push button models do. I have this in my truck and love it.
