My neighbor has a lot of yard art - I could possibly use that in a barter.

When you say art are we talking Picasso, Faberge, Van Gogh or Billy-Bob from down the block?

That's marten pelts at best, small potatoes. Dunno if it's worth the travel time.

American Express offered me a black card and told them it was too high maintenance and constantly required being washed and wiped down and I could never get out the swirl marks.

I can understand that. On the other hand, people have been having kids in their teens for most of human history.
Are we still talking about kids? :anonymous:

If you can't bring quality goods to market, I'll take my buisness elsewhere.

Never mind how long it would take to make a payment. Black is the slowes color after all.

So I'm confused. Your 22 squeaks, how can you enjoy it?

For sure. I would have made it work if I had to, but I personally was in no place to be a responsible parent in my 20's. I was working 80 to 100 hours per week in the oil and gas industry for weeks to months at a time, when I wasn't working I was sleeping, chasing tail or hunting/fishing/shooting. I'm way more stable now with the time to be the dad my daughter deserves and the maturity to hopefully not fuck it up.

I don't think it was the console squeaking, I think it may have been his bones.

At first I thought I was offended. But my bones don't squeak they snap, crackle and pop.

I did do a quick google search on squeaky consoles and it seems to be a pretty common thing for even older Tundras, Porsches, etc. The common fix seems to be letting the service department tighten the lid or replace it, not getting on a forum and complaining about what a piece of crap it is.

Good on ya. The work/home life tension is real. Provision doesn’t just mean financial but also your presence in the home and in your kids’ lives as well.

91 uncles and grandpa @War Machine . You're right, Lil' Ass Kicker will turn out just fine. :)

Agreed. I'm going to be present for my family even it means paycuts and career changes. One thing I saw during my oil and gas days was the high rate of divorce and absentee fathers. Guys so caught up in chasing the almighty dollar or climbing the corporate ladder that they neglected their home life.

Yeah, it’s pretty bad in the music industry too. Guys whose wives’ leave because they’re never home. Constantly on the road or in the studio. Many of their exes took their kids back to their home state. They just keep “living the dream” while their kids grow up with a dad they see twice a year.

Having tossed my jeans into the washer this evening without realizing my keys were still in the pocket, I can attest that at least Toyota's key fob is indeed a high quality build.

Just a point of clarity. The OP has not responded to this thread. He's made a few negative posts about Tundras/Toyota on the site, and may well just be a troll, BUT he is not the diluded old man that thinks buying cash makes him better than other people. Two different people.
