The 3rd Gen portion is not a forum. The site is a forum. 3rd Gen is a sub forum. At least get your ducks in a row.

As for me, not at all do I long for a 3rd gen. I think they're cool, dig the updates, but they don't fit my needs. As an enthusiast I just enjoy the trucks. Guess what, I pop up over in the 1st Gen SUB forum as well. Does that mean I wish I had one... well... more than a 3rd gen, yeah, but that's not the point. The point is that you were shown where you did exactly what you denied, but rather than being a man and owning it you opted to try and imply some kind of superiority because why? Oh, right. You bought a truck... Not even the most expensive one. Not even the most expensive trim of the model you chose. Gosh. It must suck to be so poor, huh? Grow up, kid.

Yikes. My kids are out at 18. Call it tough love if you must; I have given and am giving them the skills. They are learning a bunch of stuff that goes beyond allowable forum topics as well as how to earn and manage money. They do several odd jobs for our neighbors for cash. Mostly to save up to buy Legos. Always legos, lol. In my humble opinion, parental provision becomes a hindrance at the age of majority in most cases.

I didn’t have kids at 20; not quite that early. But my parents were both 20 when I was born, and they’re not raising my kids. They do offer to babysit for us while we go out. Dude, even my grandparents babysit our kids. Well, it’s more like just hanging out with them and making dinner.

I loved hanging out with my great grandparents when I was younger. I’m glad my kids get to know theirs, too. Gets us out of our generational echo chambers, in my opinion.

Shows what you know…with the 2022 you buy what’s available when you need a new truck. If there had been a Capstone coming I’d have bought it, also with CASH.

 

I just had my first kid at 33. Glad I didn't do it in my 20's. No way I was ready for this shit.

 

So trade yours in when it comes out and get one. It's only money.

 

There's one for over $100 grand in North Texas. I'm sure they'd be happy to fly it out to him with a Chinook.

I check out the 3rd gen sub-forum because I enjoy learning about all Tundras, not just the gen I own.
