So I take it the 2022 Tundra does not have a transmission cooler?

According to this thread the 22's have a "dedicated" tranny cooler.

As someone who works in manufacturing to produce Toyota Parts, GM parts, and Ford parts... (Tacoma parts, 2-2.5 gen Tundra parts, 3rd Gen Tundra Parts, Ford transit vans, and more.)

There are Go/No-Go gauges for each part. Maximum, and minimum allowances. Part must be at least XX long, and no longer than XX long.

Each process here requires a "part check" every two hours. So after each break, a part is produced, and then checked to make sure the machines are still producing conforming parts. If the part is in specifications, the operator keeps running. If it's not in specifications, they call for maintenance. We have to figure out what went wrong, and repair it.

There are call outs for material defects. There are specifications for almost every kind of defect you could imagine. None of which I can speak about in depth...

Rest assured, the quality is still there. We see to that.

TFLs live Q+A (where they rank this all new Tundra at 4th place, under big 3 and above Nissan) said it was a vague comment made by a guy in Japan and quality has not nor will it be affected.

In order: Orvis dog cover for rear bench seat, OE gun safe, Husky liners front/rear, Tyger tonneau tri fold, Rough Country seat covers
When I removed the back seats in my 2020 crewmax to install RC neoprene seat covers, I noticed the apron below the rear window had a DC part number. Maybe that’s normal but I thought it was strange to see a DC part in a crewmax.

So in addition to imperfect parts there’s some mix and match of parts as well it seems for stuff that’s out of sight...

Except ford has the same stance even if the defect IS visible. Or terrible QC. I’ve sanded to bare metal and resprayed quite a few e coat runs on brand new F150s recently. A $68k power boost just this week. Still had the window sticker on. Drivers fender and door in obvious spots. Black to boot. Now that would piss me off.
