nytop at that price and lead time makes no sense when you can go to a full metal bumper that can accommodate a winch. if you are only interested in recovery hooks OEM is the way to go now

…I didn't see any saying/showing otherwise though the Pro skid/sway assembly might present a different issue?

 

you can get a quality full metal bumper for 500 bucks? Doesnt that mess up all the sensors, etc? light up dash?

 

I meant to say nytop is expensive, they hybrid bumper + recovery is $999 with a 14 weeks lead time. CBI, C4, Backwoods and other bumpers are around the same price and offer you the ability to install a winch. So Nytop vs OEM to me is a no brainer if you are interested in only recovery hooks, otherwise have a full metal bumper that will allow you to install a winch instead of the nytop

 

idk if I like the d-ring look. Little too rugged for city slickers like me that arent looking to go that route with our aesthetics.

 

can you just leave them off until you need them?

Never thought I'd see the day when recovery points were "optional" on a 4x4. Sad, just sad.

 

Unless I missed it in the conversation here. I contacted them and they state it will work with the dynamic air dam.

Now to see if it will work with the TRD lift even though its using the sway bar location.

 

It wont work with the TRD lift because of the drop brackets used.

Thanks Eddie and Ryan for the exploded diagram, it looks slick as shit and a whole lot better looking than the other other available ones.Not to mention it's lighter than the option of the full bumper replacement.
I wonder how the lower valance will hold up on the abuse of those two rings bouncing and swinging around.
Pretty sharp looking and I really can't wait to see the first pictures of it on.

"clevis assembly should not be installed by technician or leave Toyota facility installed to vehicle."

So they're saying clevis needs to be installed when utilized, not carried in place
