I got the TFS Platinum 8yr/125K $0 deductible warranty for $1570. $3600 is outrageous.

You and I would have done this but apparently you missed the part about my WIFE's Venza, If I had done it she would never had trusted my work, make one light switch throw sparks and they never forgive ya...:rimshot:

My source for toyota platinum is telling me that for Factory Toyota platinum warranty the cutoff is at 30 months...buying a certified truck with certified wrap can be further out, of course...

Great topic. I went with the extended warranty for peace of mind. Now, just need to find a trustworthy dealership for any unseen failures.

I emailed Jerry and he was really helpful, I went ahead and purchased the 8yr/75,000 miles coverage. I don't place a lot of miles on my vehicles and plan to keep it for a while so should be enough for me I hope, thanks a bunch!

Just as an update for those that may wonder if warranty is worth it. I just walked away from a sunroof motor replacement 100 percent covered! Makes my decision on the Tundra warranty feel like a good choice.

I paid $550 for the warranty and the parts and labor amounted to $989
