    I can agree. I had the JBL in my 2008 and it did a pretty damn good job for factory radio. I upgraded the HU to a 2010 (to get bluetooth audio and USB audio) and it was great.
    My JBL 8-channel DSP amp from Tech12Volts is supposed to show up tomorrow. I want to try that first before springing for all the speakers and sub too.

    I've got his sub/box in my '21 and preparing to do the amp next.... The factory sub in my '21 was crap; the box is plastic and the sub is very papery. The new sub helps a little, but it's not getting enough power or appropriate signal processing to gain much improvement. His amp w/DSP should be a huge improvement...

    On a funny side note, in my '08, I still have the OE head unit (w/flip up screen and CD slot) and had added an old iPod connector

    The sad part is it still sounds better than apple play, etc....

    The standard system in my 2017 SR5 sounded better than the JBL in my 21 Platinum. Kept the head unit and replaced everything else with the set up from Tech12volts. It sounds outstanding now. Don’t see how it can be any better honestly.
