Yes, I left Hell, I mean AZ, off that list. It's entirely too hot unless you are in the northern mountain areas.

Yes we get snow. We have never had a hurricane or a tornado where I live. I'm trying to get away from the cold and snow.

Well, no tornadoes where I live either. I did see a wall cloud start to rotate once, but that was it. The cold isn't super terrible, but if it's a deal breaker I would suggest you look at southern Utah. The state has an excellent economy, the land is beautiful, and in S. UT you are warm most of the year.
