If @SnowyTundra is gonna hang with the boyz, you're gonna have to let her do it on her own.
There is no White Knighting on this thread..

I understand good women are far and few between up there, but let her, be her..

    Thank you @1lowlife
Definitions 2 and 3 are rather interesting for “White Knighting”….. if anyone cares to indulge…
although I’m fairly certain, at least I think I am… that you meant the obvious definition 1….

because certainly 2 and 3 are allowed on this thread..

    Only on TV.

I'm not ooky about snakes, they fascinate me. I've seen water moccasin sex balls (not sure what else to call it without googling) that were 10' around and 4' tall. I've caught a couple of snakes fishing with mid-depth lures. Two years ago I was duck hunting with my son, and there were several snakes slithering across the pond we were sitting. Not great for luring in ducks, and against prior knowledge that they could be out in >40°F water and freezing air temps. They're strange creatures for sure.

We have 4 poisonous snakes in Texas. Two of them can kill a person (coral and rattler), one can kill your dog or other animals (a copperhead hiding in hay in a feeder killed a friend's horse a couple of decades ago biting it on the face), and one can give you a bad week (cotton mouth moccasin). Not exactly Australia...

Not a quota so much as the anticipation that swells up from someone leaving it hanging out there when the opportunity arises.

We had a shit ton about a month ago. Refreshed the rat baits and none right now.

Our nextdoor neighbor has fruit trees, we've been dealing with the bastards since we moved in. They won't come into the living areas but will get in the attic and under the house. The first year we were here they chewed the ice maker line under the house. Changed the crawl space vents and plugged a couple of gaps where services exit the crawl space, plus enough bait stations to kill a rat village and haven't had many problems since. But they found a new path into the attic this year through a gable fan. We put wire on that and added a couple of bait stations and they're under control again.

Out exterminator gave me a web site where I can buy the same product he uses without a license. It's about a $100 for a years supply.

Do My Own - Do It Yourself Pest Control, Lawn Care, Gardening, Equipment & Animal Care Products & Supplies

I get Dylox there (for grub worms), along with preemergent and other lawn care. I'd take some of that pest control stuff seriously - you could wind up with a dead dog, or self, without due care.
