Yeah, started at 0700. So far pretty lame and pretty busy. Always gotta have a good attitude though!

 

It's been a shitshow since Christmas.

 

I’m off, but only because Saturdays are my regular day off.

 

Always a shit show to some degree here, no matter the season. Some of us can handle it and some freak out. Makes it sorta entertaining if you’re the type that can go with the flow.

 

I'm gonna veto this. My birthday is in August and I absolutely love that no holiday is around it, it's warm out, and it's before hunting season starts. I vote June.

 

They just started giving us the Juneteenth holiday.

 

I won't get it as a holiday, so no day off for me. I think I only get 6 holidays off. New years, memorial day, 4th, Labor day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

That’s funny, because we’re seriously considering moving from AZ back to IL. We’re in IL now about 15 miles south of my home town, but not sure about this winter shit… I shoveled snow for the first 24 years of my life. The last baker’s dozen worth have been shovel-free and I don’t know if I can go back…

I think northern AZ would work for me. Yea, they get some snow, but a couple hours down into the valley and you can warm up and dry out in the winter.

Guess it's all relative. I'm guaranteed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter off. In my line of work I consider that to be pretty lucky to get those days with my family. Other holidays we split up between the 5 of us. Crappy part is days like today when I have to go in from 5-9. Spend all damn day with a 4hr shift hanging over my head. Would rather just be at work.
Tim you've got a good point. In june New Years would only interfere with a little bass fishing at most. Your gonna have to share August with me tho.

My BIL will show me something on his phone and have 300 unread emails and 75 unread texts.
It drives me crazy, but he uses his phone for work so I get it..

My boss (company owner) did a screen share of his phone at a meeting once - there were over 5k unread messages on his email app. I about lost my shit...


Funny enough, just now I went back into the app and both those notifications cleared. I've tried I don't know how many times to get them to clear before.
