I'm glad to be a part of this crew. This whole forum has been a life saver. Its been a rough 2 years essentially (and not due to the thing that has affected everyone, that has just been another minor complication) and I am not sure if I could have made it this far with a positive attitude without you all. Really hoping for a different 2022 but plan to start taking some control. My 3 goals are to get my ass back in some better shape, get some house mods done, and get some of the shit on my Tundra that I have bought but haven't had the time to paint/install. I know we will make the best of the year and this crew is just awesome.
I think things are finally improving for us so that should make 2022 a little more controlled. But its hard going into the new year when my leads mother just passed yesterday. She had been hospitalized since Thanksgiving so it wasn't unexpected, just still sucks to have a great family dealing with that.

Okay. Got that off my chest. Just thankful to be apart of this crew and to have the constant shenanigans to make every day better.

It’s an awesome area! I’ve been here for about 9 years. Originally grew up in Boise and then went to college in Moscow. Had a few odds and ends jobs out of college I’m WA and OR but knew I always wanted to make it back to North Idaho.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like this forum has been a positive thing for me. This thread is highly entertaining, laughter is good, but I've also seen us come together to show support for members in tough situations. For all the asshattery, there really are some hearts of gold in here.

Happy New Year's eve to everyone. This is the best forum I've ever been on and I'm a founding member and lead moderator on a different one. That says something. LOL. I don't think there's anyone here who isn't welcome around my campfire. This forum really feels like one big family. When something happens and The Woman asks "are you gonna tell the boys?" and she's not really joking, you know it's become a big part of my life. We've laughed, we've comiserated (because we don't cry right?), we've busted balls, we've hugged it out, we've done charity stuff, we've supported each other. Keep it up crew!

 

Sounds like a main line is clogged, or a vent might be blocked off.

 

That's what I'm thinking. Gonna have to figure out how to check it all out.

I think that part of what's so great with this group is that we are all so very different, but don't hold grudges or judge for it. There is a wide variety of interests, hobbies, tastes, quirks, and kinks represented in this group, but we generally set aside the differences and let everyone do their own thing while still being part of a greater whole. Conformity isn't required, just comradery. Good times, bad times, doesn't matter. There is always the Mafia to share it with.

I hope the positivity of this group can spread and that our towns, states, provinces, and nations can all be better for it. Do me a favor and ring in your new year's with a smile and your beverage of choice, because my ass is gonna be sleepin'!

Yeah.. I never really expected this forum to become my main Social Media outlet, but I'm glad it is.
I'll be the first to admit I'm addicted to this forum, I have a shortcut on my phone's homescreen. My wife reminds me of this, then I remind her she's addicted to Fakebook, Tic-Toc and IG. We both smile and carry on, so it all works out. She saw a different side of it when we all came together for @MARanger
I'm in that anti-social club as well, but hoping to meet up with some of my PNW buddies on here in '22.
