Maybe I missed it, thought I kept up but didn’t see any mention of the Bloody Beaver moon night before last. Full moon in November is a beaver moon and with the eclipse it’s a blood moon, so Bloody Beaver moon. All hell broke lose around these parts, then as soon as it set all was calm with the world again.

 

I woke up but totally forgot about it, looked at it with the dog at like 5am but it was just another cool moon set

I'm not good at chillin' either.
My chillin' is usually spent checking out the forum.
I can't sit and watch the boob tube, other than the few shows the wife and I watch together on the weekend evenings.
When I sit around and do nothing, my mind spins about all the things I could be doing..

I went to the local animal shelter today and took them some dog treats and toys.
Didn't tell the wife.
They are at full capacity.
Found a couple dogs I liked, but like I stated, it's her decision, and it has to be her idea.

Y'all enjoy your day, I gotta start Xmas lights on the house.
She offered to hire someone to do it, I should have taken her up on it...

 

@Outbound are you sure your harem hasn’t done anything with your……….package? I…….thought I was waiting on a pvc patch, I know people are busy, I wasn’t to worried. Then right now momma bear was like there’s a toyomafia thingy over there from when we went camping and my mom got the mail. Wtf, when were you going to tell me? I’m pretty sure I did………

Yeah, The Harem is well aware that I have a Toyomafia package out in the ether somewhere. Another week down, another week with an empty mailbox. I suspect that the package is gone at this point, either eaten by a sorting machine or pilfered by a low down skunk of a human.

 

Just work in about 3.5 hours. Hope it's a quiet night. Much rather get paid to watch YouTube than deal with broken telecom stuff!

Holy shit! I'm glad he's relatively ok. I hope he can take it a little easy and get some proper recovery going.

 

Ouch, I feel for you on the mom front, mine had a stroke and never fully recovered her mental facilities, and is now showing signs of dementia. Meanwhile my dad's body is failing due parkinsons, so between the 2 I have one complete person. At least at this point their disabilities are offsetting.

Well, Mrs. Punishment has decided it's time to put up the Christmas decorations. I swear this comes earlier every year.

We were kinda in your neck of the woods tonight.
Met the son and girlfriend at Hopdoody Burger Bar in Addison for dinner today.
It was pretty good.
First restaurant I've been to that doesn't accept cash, at all, anymore.
Son says a few are starting to do that now.

 

Started today, finishing the outside lights tomorrow.
I hate getting on the roof...

 

Hopdoddy has garlic truffle duck fat fries. Man those are almost better than their burgs.

 

One more thing to love about Mrs. TX - - she's a minimalist for holidays. A wreath on the door, garland and stockings for the grandkids on the fireplace - - done.

 

Not sure if this had to do with Secret Santa, but I did get a gift in the mail today.
My #1 SS gift request was a donation to St Judes.

Apparently, someone did just that for me.
I've only posted about my cat theft in this thread.

I really should have done the outdoor lights before it snowed. I do all mine from a ladder though so it's not that bad.

Ours has to stay up until after Ukrainian Christmas so I don't like to put it up too early. Mrs. Punishment's parents put their tree up and start listening to Christmas music on November 12th but then by the 26th they're tired of it and take everything down.

 

I just put the wife to bed, she is out in 6 minutes..
Sat at my desk and saw the Satna Gnome.
It fell out of the box when I opened it and I didn't see it.



It goes on permanent display on my desk..
