    Ha!

It’s funny... most people will hold the phone to which ear according to conversation type.
If you’re in an analytical conversation most will hold the phone to the right ear, while being in a friendly conversation not requiring much thought, most will hold the phone to the left ear.
However, left-brain thinkers tend to use their right hand to hold their cellphone. If you hold your phone to the left side, you are likely to be right-brain dominant.

I used earbuds. I don’t want folks trying to figure my damn brain out.

I always thought I was right-handed but when I joined the Army, I found out that I was a left-handed shooter. Although I can shoot and eat taquitos with either hand. So I guess I'm ambidextrous when it matters.

    I saw that video.

I wear this hat to work. One day the VP came out on the floor. We chit chatted about one of the processes we have, and 20 minutes later at the end he said "so uh... I've got to ask. What exactly is a butt snorkeler?"

I said "if you know you know."

I can shoot shotgun and rifle left handed, but not not nearly as well or quickly as I can right handed. I do everything else right handed. The Woman though is real interesting when it comes to shooting. She's right handed in everything but cross eye dominant. Her left eye is her dominant eye. When doing something like shooting where she needs to focus on sights with her dominant eye, she has to do things left handed.

In the Navy, my very first day of pistol range time in boot camp, I pulled up shooting a 3”-4” grouping at 25 yards.
The CC came over and was like, impressive, do that again.
I loaded the clip, chambered a round and was about to began to fire.
He put his hand on my shoulder and said, “What in the ever living f@ck are you doing?!?”
I’m sorry Master Chief, what do you mean?
“You’re holding that firearm in the wrong gd hand recruit!!”

Fortunately, my grouping was still decent right handed.

Since ruining my left wrist in a motorcycle accident years ago, I now carry and shoot right handed primarily.

I have fondled them a few times. They are standard p365 grips that have been laser stippled - I couldn’t justify the price above a standard p365 grip for some fish scale pattern.
    .

    .
    .

    .
Then I spent even more on an aluminum grip.

Yeah, but those aluminum grips are cherry!

I can get a Greyguns module really really cheap.
    There must be a reason.

Make sure it has the magazine release. When Sig first started selling the XL grip and GG first started doing them, they didn’t come with the mag release so you had to swap it from your other grip...
eventually they started selling the mag release parts separate, which they wanted over $25 for! And finally they started selling the modules with the mag release like they did for the p320.

Of course, I think the Icarus grip might not come with the release either.

if you’re not sure about having the XL grip vs the standard grip (you can’t use your 10-rnds with the XL... but it’s easy to find buyers for those), then I would grab one of the plastic XL grips first (and if the price on the GG one is good, grab it) and run it a while before committing. I did, found I preferred it, and then sold off my regular grip and all my 10-round stuff.

You always have such solid feedback. Thanks, brother!

The price is low enough on the GG to probably consider it disposable.

I’ve been thinking about the XL grip but wasn’t sure how much bulk it added.
With the sights and light it’s starting to take up some room.

it’s no longer a front pocket carry.
Have to rely on the SAS for that.

I’m guessing the XL doesn’t extend any further that the 12 round mag.

    Thanks.
I’m intrigued by the SAS but also worried it would mess with my muscle memory on sight picture. When I’ve tried reflex sights on pistols, I fight with them more than just placing the front bead.
And yes, the XL grip is the same length as the 12-rd mag but without the possible finger pinch or potential hang up dropping the magazine. I always preferred the 12 so it was an easy choice.

    Breakfast of champions!
    Nice.

    .

Yeah, the sights on the SAS can be tricky.
I’ve always seen it as a last moment, close range tool.

    Now on to XL grips...

I’ve avoided the pinch factor, but I guarantee I will get pinched while at the range tomorrow.
