Ok, Quick question for you all... I have been approached & asked about selling my

1st Gen Tundra and folks get all pi$$y when my reply is, The '24 I am looking at is

this much $$$$$.... and that is what my Tundra is valued at..


Am I being rude or practical ???

 

What it's worth to you isnt what it's worth to someone else. Goes both ways high and low.

I wouldn't sell mine for anything under 90k because that's what I value mine as. For me to let mine go someone would have to over pay. It's a ridiculous number, but I don't plan on ever getting rid of mine. But a high enough price would.

 

If you'd've asked me 6 months before I traded my '06 in, I'd have given you the same answer - - $75k or gtfo. But then my wife said 'why don't you get a new truck?'.

Wherever we go somewhere together, we go in my vehicle. We are in dense suburbia and have room to own 2 vehicles. She'd gotten tired of that old car smell. She wasn't really asking.

 

Momma knows I LOVE my '02 and we almost went for another Tundra....

I mentioned I was looking at a Hybrid and she was on board to trade the RAV4 until she asked for a pic

After a "Few" choice words , the '24 Tundra hybrid will have to wait

 

Show her the Sequoia front end swap. It helps a bunch.

 

I'm with the wife on this one. I just can't get with the big mouth bass, fu manchu front end and my better 7/8's or myself wouldn't even consider spending 5+k to change the look of a brand new 60-80k vehicle

 

Mine is worth at least $120k to me.

 

Short answer is practical. It's the same reason I can't sell my house in an inflated market. If I sell it, it will cost me money even if I downgraded the size of the home and the property. Keep your best IMHO.

 

Same. I saw his and spent several hours down the rabbit hole. So now I will be causally watching for one chambered in 357.
